Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS BROKEN ANYWAY!!! Doesn't matter who's president, NYS Department of Labor takes forever to process claims and the job search requirements are ridiculous. Three contacts a week when most places don't even respond to applications anymore!
I get the frustration but the job search requirement helps ensure people are actively looking. It's annoying but it's not that hard to meet if you track your applications properly.
Just keep filing your weekly claims on schedule and don't worry about political changes affecting your regular UI benefits. The unemployment insurance system has operated consistently through many different administrations. Focus on your job search and meeting the NYS Department of Labor requirements - that's what actually matters for keeping your benefits active.

THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS DESIGNED TO MAKE YOU WAIT AND HOPE YOU GIVE UP!!! I had an employer who took 2 WEEKS to respond and NYS Department of Labor didn't do anything about it until I called and complained. Don't just sit there waiting - be proactive about following up!

To clarify the earlier question about weekends - yes, those 10 days include weekends and holidays. NYS Department of Labor counts calendar days, not business days, for employer response deadlines. Once that period expires without a response, the claim typically moves forward automatically unless there are other verification issues pending.

I had trouble reaching someone at NYS Department of Labor to verify my direct deposit setup was correct. Kept getting busy signals for days.
