Just be warned - even after you report the fraud, your account might still show the false claim for months. It takes their system forever to update and remove fraudulent claims. Don't panic if you still see it online.
THIS IS AN EPIDEMIC!!! My entire apartment building got hit with this (6 different people). We think our mail was stolen and they used that to get enough info to file claims. Check your credit reports NOW.
the nysdol website has a FAQ about this exact situation. from what i remember reading, yes you'll get the $300 for any eligible weeks as long as the system shows you were entitled to regular benefits for those weeks. also make sure they properly coded your hospital stay so you don't get penalized for not doing the work search requirements!
Curious - what industry do you work in? Some sectors qualify for different types of extensions or training benefits that others don't. Might be worth looking into.
I was in hospitality/restaurant management before getting laid off last year. Are there specific programs for that industry?
Have you tried the callback feature on their website? I couldn't get through by phone for weeks, then requested a callback online and actually got one 3 days later. The agent fixed my issue in 10 minutes.
It's buried in there. Go to your dashboard > Contact Us > Request Callback. But honestly if you can't find it just use claimyr.com - it's basically the same thing but actually works reliably.
i had this EXACT problem. turns out my identity verification failed but they never bothered to tell me! I only found out when i finally got through to a tier 2 agent who actually looked at my file. had to upload my drivers license and ss card again. got paid 2 weeks later.
You have to be direct. When they first answer, say "I need to speak with a claims specialist or tier 2 agent about a pending claim that's been approved but not paying." If they say they can help you, say "With all due respect, I've been told multiple times my claim is processing but it's been X months. I need someone who can actually see what's blocking my payments.

Unpopular opinion maybe but all these tax breaks and special rules during covid just made everything more confusing. Now nobody knows what rules apply anymore.

Have you checked your IRS account transcript? Sometimes adjustments show up there before anywhere else. You can access it online if you create an account on irs.gov
