Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. So I was about to throw my phone after 3 hours on hold when my neighbor told me about claimyr.com - I was super skeptical but figured what did I have to lose? They continued from where I was stuck. The agent could see where the ID.me verification had failed and was able to verify me a different way. Didn't have to restart anything!

Why am I not surprised? NY unemployment system has been a joke for years. Remember when their whole site crashed during covid and nobody could apply for weeks? Same energy 🤡

Try contacting your state representatives office! I was having the same issue and my congressmans office has a staff member who deals with unemployment cases. They fixed mine in 2 days with one phone call.

The most frustrating part is you cant even check on the status. I tried calling NY unemployment and they said it's an IRS issue. Called IRS and they said they can't give status on individual adjustments. It's like they designed this system to be as annoying as possible 🙄

It might come Thursday. Monday night certifications often hit my account Thursday morning instead of Wednesday. Their system is finicky like that. Set ur expectations for Thursday just to be safe.

your bank may have resources to help too! I work at a credit union and we have a whole department that helps members with identity theft. they can't fix the unemployment issue directly but can help protect your other accounts and credit.

•I only found out when I got a 1099-G tax form showing unemployment income I never received. You could request a wage and income transcript from the IRS to see if there's anything fishy on your record.
