Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. I definitely will update once we get this resolved! I appreciate all the helpful suggestions from everyone. It's been incredibly stressful for her, but at least now we have several concrete action steps to try.

UPDATE: I tried the suggestion from earlier about using Claimyr for my IRS issue and it actually worked! Got through to someone in about 45 minutes instead of spending all day trying to call. The agent was able to fix the discrepancy between my unemployment reporting and what the IRS had on file. Might be worth checking out if none of the direct number tricks are working for you.
Thanks for the update! I'm going to try the direct extension method first thing tomorrow morning, but if that doesn't work, I'll definitely consider Claimyr. Glad you got your issue resolved!

The same exact thing happened to my cousin last year and it was a NIGHTMARE to fix!!!! The unemployment system in this state is completely BROKEN!! They take WEEKS to process anything and you can never reach anyone on the phone. Its absolutely CRIMINAL how they treat people!!!!

Quick question - now that I've updated my direct deposit info, should I still activate the MetaBank card? Will my current payment be on there or will it go to my bank account?

•Yes, you should still activate the card. Any payments that were already processed before you updated your direct deposit information will be on the card. Only future payments will go to your bank account. The paperwork that came with the card should explain how to check your balance and access those funds.
