If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Unpopular opinion: sometimes it's faster to just resubmit your claim instead of waiting for them to process the original one. Worked for me! 🤷‍♂️

Wouldn't that just create more confusion and potentially delay things even more? Seems risky.

It's def a gamble, but when you're desperate, sometimes you gotta roll the dice 🎲

ugh this brings back nightmares from when i had to deal with pfl last year. the system is so broken its not even funny anymore. hang in there op!

have u checked ur spam folder? sometimes important emails from them end up there. just a thought!

I heard they just updated their system last month. Maybe that's causing delays? Anyone else notice longer processing times recently?

Oh snap, that could explain it! I've definitely noticed things moving slower lately. Classic government IT fail 🙄

have u tried turning it off and on again? 😂 jk jk. but for real, sometimes the websites for this stuff are so old and buggy. try a different browser or even ur phone if the login still isnt working

Guys I just saw on the news that they're changing some rules about post-employment benefits. Might be worth looking into for OP's situation. Anyone know more about this?

0 coins

I think that's only for unemployment benefits, not FMLA or family leave stuff. But I could be wrong, the rules change so often it's hard to keep up 🤷‍♂️

pro tip: if u cant get thru on the phone, try reaching out on Twitter. sometimes their social media team can escalate issues faster than the regular customer service. worth a shot! 🤷‍♂️

This actually works! I got my issue resolved in like 2 days after tweeting at them. Public shame is a powerful motivator lol

Okay, let's break this down: 1. Your weekly benefit amount (WBA) is calculated based on your highest-paid quarter in the base period. 2. There's a maximum weekly benefit amount, which is currently $1,620 (as of 2023). 3. Even if your calculated WBA is higher, you can't receive more than the max. So, if your average weekly earnings are $5,500, you'd hit the max benefit. $1,620 per week for 4 weeks would be $6,480 total for a month. If they only paid you for one day, that's about $324 (1/5 of the weekly max). Definitely an error! When you call, ask them: 1. What dates did they have on file for your leave? 2. What was the WBA they calculated for you? 3. Why was the payment only for one day? If they can't give clear answers, ask to speak to a claims specialist or a supervisor. Remember, stay calm but be persistent. Good luck!

Here's what worked for me when I had verification issues with my paid family leave claim: 1. Double-check all your personal info on the application. Even small typos can cause problems. 2. Use ID.me to verify your identity if you haven't already. 3. Submit additional documents like pay stubs, W-2, and a utility bill. 4. Keep calling! I know it's frustrating, but persistence pays off. 5. If all else fails, contact your local state representative. They can sometimes help push things through. Hang in there! It's a pain, but you'll get it sorted eventually.

Great tips! I'd add that keeping a log of all your calls and attempts can be helpful if you need to escalate the issue later.
