Here's what worked for me when I had verification issues with my PFL claim: 1. Double-check ALL your info. Even tiny discrepancies can cause problems. 2. Make sure your ID isn't expired. 3. If you've moved recently, update your address everywhere. 4. Try uploading clearer photos of your documents if you did it on mobile. 5. Use the online portal to message them directly about the issue. 6. As a last resort, fax your documents (yes, seriously, sometimes this works better). Hope this helps! The system is a pain, but don't give up. You'll get through eventually!
Wow, thank you so much for this detailed advice! I'll definitely try all of these. Fingers crossed something works! 🤞
tldr; EDD's verification system sucks and we're all suffering. Welcome to the club, OP! 🎉ðŸ˜

Guys, I hate to say it, but I think we're all clowns for expecting the government to actually help us 🤡 Time to learn to live off the grid or something

•It's easy to get disillusioned, but we should continue advocating for better systems.

•Off the grid sounds tempting, but for now, we need to keep pushing for change from within.

Okay, I know this sounds crazy, but hear me out. I found a way to actually get through to a real person. There's this website called claimyr.com that has a calling tool. It dials the phone menu, stays on hold, and then connects you when a live agent picks up. It costs $20, but it worked for me. Here's the link: https://claimyr.com
