If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

For anyone still trying to reach Washington ESD about benefit calculations, I had success with Claimyr last month. Got connected to an agent who walked me through exactly how my weekly amount was calculated and why it was different than I expected.

That's exactly what I need! My determination letter doesn't break down the calculation clearly enough.

The agent was really helpful explaining the formula step by step. Made much more sense after talking to someone who actually understood the system.

Don't forget that if you qualify for unemployment benefits, you might also be eligible for other programs like SNAP or healthcare subsidies. The combination can help stretch that weekly benefit amount further.

Good reminder. I should look into what other assistance might be available while I'm job searching.

Last bit of advice - if you ever have issues reaching Washington ESD by phone, that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier really does work. I was skeptical at first but it got me through to an agent when I couldn't get past the busy signal for weeks.

I'm definitely going to try it, I've wasted so many hours trying to call them directly

0 coins

It's worth it just for the peace of mind of actually being able to talk to someone when you need to

Thanks everyone for all the helpful info! I feel much better about the whole process now.

Same here! This community is great for getting real answers about Washington ESD stuff

That's what we're here for! Good luck with your claim

Remember that unemployment benefits are insurance that you and your employer paid into. You have a right to collect them if you're eligible. Don't feel guilty about filing a claim.

0 coins

Thanks for the reminder. I do feel bad about it but you're right - I paid into the system.

The bottom line is that most people who get fired for performance issues will qualify for unemployment. True misconduct is actually pretty rare. File your claim and don't stress about it too much.

Thank you everyone for all the advice. I feel much better about filing now.

The key thing everyone should understand is that Washington unemployment benefits max out at 26 weeks for regular UI claims. No extensions currently available like during COVID. Make sure you're using WorkSourceWA resources and networking actively - don't just rely on online applications.

This thread has been really helpful understanding the 26 week limit. I feel much more informed about my benefits now.

0 coins

Glad it helped! The Washington ESD system can be confusing but 26 weeks is the standard everyone should plan around.

One last tip for anyone still struggling to reach Washington ESD with questions about their benefit duration - that Claimyr service I mentioned earlier really does work. Sometimes talking to an actual agent is the only way to get clear answers about your specific situation.

0 coins

I'm definitely going to check out their website. Been trying to reach ESD for three weeks about my claim details.

0 coins

The video demo on their site shows exactly how the process works. Much easier than explaining it here.

Another option if your appeal doesn't work is to reapply for benefits after the disqualification period ends. Sometimes circumstances change or you can provide better documentation the second time around. Don't assume one denial means you're permanently ineligible.

0 coins

Good point. Even if I lose the appeal, it's not necessarily the end of the road.

0 coins

Exactly. Washington ESD processes thousands of these cases, and they do make mistakes. Persistence often pays off if you have a legitimate case.

Used Claimyr again recently when I had questions about requalifying after a misconduct disqualification. The agent walked me through exactly what Washington ESD would be looking for in a new application. Really helpful to get that inside perspective on how they evaluate these cases.

I think I'm going to try that service. Seems like talking to someone who understands the system could save me a lot of time and stress.

It's definitely worth it if you're feeling overwhelmed by the process. They can explain things in plain English instead of bureaucratic language.
