Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Their website is confusing but once you figure out where everything is it's not too bad.

Just to close the loop on timing - in my experience it's usually closer to the 7-8 day mark unless there's a holiday or mail issue. The 10 days is more of a worst-case scenario timeframe.
That's reassuring since I'm right at the 8 day mark now. Hopefully it shows up in the next day or two!

To summarize for the original poster: File weekly claims by Sunday 11:59 PM, payments typically process Wednesday and arrive Thursday-Friday via direct deposit. First payments may take longer. Keep filing even while claims are pending. Contact ESD if payments are delayed beyond normal timeframes.
