If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Just saw this thread and wanted to add that I finally got approved after 7 weeks. Turned out my previous employer initially contested the claim but then withdrew their objection. Never got any notification about the contest until I specifically asked about it.

Wow, that's concerning that they don't notify you about contests. How did you find out?

0 coins

Only found out when I finally got through to an agent who could see the full case history. Definitely worth getting someone on the phone if possible.

The waiting is the worst part... hang in there OP

0 coins

Thanks, trying to stay positive but it's definitely stressful.

One thing to keep in mind - if your employer contests your claim (which they might), be prepared for the adjudication process to take longer. But don't let that discourage you from filing. You have nothing to lose by applying.

0 coins

It varies. Some do it automatically, others only if they think they have a strong case for misconduct. Either way, the process is designed to be fair to both sides.

0 coins

My employer contested mine but I still got approved. Washington ESD does their own investigation regardless of what the employer claims.

0 coins

Just to echo what others have said - file immediately. The worst thing that can happen is they say no, but there's a good chance they'll approve you. Performance issues are usually not considered disqualifying misconduct in Washington state.

Thank you to everyone who responded. This has been incredibly helpful and reassuring. I'm filing first thing Monday morning.

Good for you! And remember, even if there are hiccups in the process, don't give up. The system is there to help people in situations like yours.

Just wanted to confirm that the 26 weeks maximum is for regular unemployment. If there are any special programs or extensions due to economic conditions, those would be separate and additional.

0 coins

Correct. The 26 weeks is the standard duration for regular UI benefits in Washington. Extended benefits only kick in during high unemployment periods, which we're not in right now.

0 coins

Good to know. Hopefully I won't need anywhere near 26 weeks to find something new.

been trying to reach washington esd about my benefit amount for weeks now. calling first thing in the morning, during lunch, different days of the week. nothing works!

Same struggle here! I finally used Claimyr after someone on Reddit mentioned it. They called Washington ESD for me and got me connected to an agent who answered all my questions about the benefit calculation. Definitely recommend checking out their website - claimyr.com has all the info.

I used Claimyr when I had questions about my partial claim too. Really helped clarify some confusing stuff about how they calculate benefits when you're working reduced hours. Worth checking out if you need to actually talk to someone at Washington ESD.

0 coins

How quickly did they get you connected? I've been trying to call for weeks.

0 coins

Maybe an hour or two? Way faster than trying to call on my own. The video demo on their site shows exactly how it works.

Just remember that partial unemployment is meant to be temporary assistance while you're looking for more work. It's not a long-term solution, but it can definitely help bridge the gap when your hours are cut.

0 coins

Absolutely. I'm hoping this is just temporary until business picks up again at my job.

0 coins

Just want to echo what others said about filing sooner rather than later. I waited 3 weeks after I lost my job thinking I'd find something quickly, and I basically lost 3 weeks of benefits. The waiting week was eliminated in Washington so you get paid starting with your first week of filing.

0 coins

Good decision. Even if you find work quickly, at least you'll have the safety net in place.

0 coins

Absolutely right about filing early. Your benefit year starts when you file, so any delay just costs you potential benefits.

0 coins

Thanks everyone for all the helpful information! I'm going to gather my documents this weekend and file my claim on Monday. It sounds like with my income level I should qualify for a decent weekly amount that will help while I'm job searching. I'll definitely keep the Claimyr service in mind if I run into any issues getting through to Washington ESD.

0 coins

You're making the right choice. Having that weekly benefit takes a lot of pressure off the job search.

Hope everything goes smoothly for you. Remember that Claimyr option if you need to talk to an agent quickly about anything.
