Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Both programs also coordinate with other benefits. UI affects things like food stamps, workers comp can affect disability benefits. Important to understand how they interact with other assistance programs.

Thanks everyone for all this advice. I think I need to start documenting everything more carefully and maybe talk to HR first before making any decisions. This has given me a lot to think about.
Also want to add - if you do quit and get denied initially, don't give up. The appeals process exists for a reason and lots of people win on appeal who were denied initially. Just make sure you appeal within the deadline.
What's the deadline for appeals?
You have 30 days from the date of the determination letter to file your appeal. Don't miss that deadline!

The waiting is brutal but try to stay positive. Washington ESD has gotten much better at processing payments compared to a few years ago. Your money is coming!

Don't give up hope. The job market is tough but things can change quickly. Make sure you're using all the resources available - career counseling, job fairs, networking events through WorkSource.

Keep detailed records of all your job search activities. If you do qualify for a new claim, having good documentation will help if there are any questions about your eligibility or job search efforts.
