I'm dealing with this exact same thing right now! Got laid off from my $22/hr job but they're calculating based on when I made $16/hr. So frustrating trying to get through to ESD to ask about it.
Try that Claimyr thing someone mentioned - I've heard good things about it for getting through to ESD.
Bottom line - if you think your wage information is wrong or your benefit calculation is incorrect, you need to contact Washington ESD ASAP. There are time limits on when you can request corrections.
I used Claimyr when I needed help with my claim too. Super easy and way less stressful than trying to get through on the phone. Definitely recommend it if you need to talk to someone at Washington ESD.
Just remember that even if you had issues at previous jobs, what matters most is your most recent separation. Being laid off should make you eligible regardless of past job history in most cases.
Bottom line - apply for benefits and let Washington ESD make the determination. Don't assume you're disqualified. Even complicated situations sometimes qualify, and you won't know until you try.
One more tip - if you're working part-time while on unemployment, make sure you understand how the earnings deduction works. You can often still get partial benefits even if you work a few hours.

Bottom line - plan for 26 weeks maximum, hope you find work sooner, and keep all your documentation organized. Washington ESD can be particular about their requirements but the system works if you follow the rules.

One last thing - if you do have trouble reaching Washington ESD later on to ask questions about your specific benefit duration, that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier really does work. I used it last month to get clarity on my remaining weeks and it was much easier than the regular phone system.

•I bookmarked their site just in case. Hopefully won't need it but good to have options if I can't get through normally.

•Sometimes you just need to talk to a real person to get answers about your specific situation. The automated stuff only goes so far.
