If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Don't forget that you need to meet the monetary eligibility requirements too. Just because you can get the maximum weekly amount doesn't mean you automatically qualify if you haven't worked long enough or earned enough total wages.

What are the minimum requirements? I've been working full-time for 3 years so I should be fine, but curious.

0 coins

You need at least $3,850 in your base period and wages in at least two quarters. With 3 years of full-time work you should definitely qualify.

The whole benefit calculation system is pretty complex. I'm glad Washington state has decent maximums compared to other places, but I wish the process was more transparent and easier to understand.

0 coins

Agreed! The Washington ESD website could definitely explain the calculations more clearly.

At least this forum helps people figure it out. Thanks everyone for all the helpful info!

One more thought - if your employer contests your claim and Washington ESD initially denies you, don't give up. The appeal process often results in overturned decisions, especially for performance-related terminations where there wasn't clear misconduct.

0 coins

Thanks for the encouragement. I really hope it doesn't come to that, but it's good to know appeals are an option if needed.

0 coins

Hopefully you won't need to appeal, but don't be intimidated by the process if you do. Administrative law judges review these cases fairly and often side with claimants when employers can't prove actual misconduct.

Last tip - when Washington ESD calls for your fact-finding interview, be completely honest but stick to the facts. Don't volunteer negative information about yourself, but don't lie either. Focus on the lack of formal warnings and your genuine efforts to do the job.

0 coins

You can mention that you were still developing your skills, especially if it was a complex position or you didn't receive adequate training. That actually supports your case that it was a performance issue rather than misconduct.

0 coins

And if you need to provide additional information after the interview, that's another situation where Claimyr can help you reach an agent quickly instead of spending hours on hold.

One more tip - if you need to talk to someone at Washington ESD about your specific situation, try using Claimyr. I mentioned it earlier but it really does help cut through the phone queue nightmare. Made the whole process way less stressful for me.

0 coins

I'm skeptical of services like that but honestly the phone situation is so bad I might try it.

0 coins

I was skeptical too but it worked exactly like they showed in their demo video. Worth it when you need actual answers from a real person.

Bottom line - don't let anyone tell you that you can only get unemployment if you're fired. That's completely wrong and you could be missing out on benefits you deserve. Hours reduction definitely qualifies in most cases.

0 coins

Thank you everyone for all the help! I'm definitely applying today. Feel so much better knowing I might actually qualify.

0 coins

You're welcome! Hope everything works out for you. The worst they can do is say no, but based on what you described you should be approved.

0 coins

Make sure you file your weekly claims every week even if your initial claim is still being processed. Missing those weekly filings can mess up your benefits later.

0 coins

How do I file weekly claims? Is that separate from the initial application?

0 coins

Yes, it's separate. After you file your initial claim, you'll get instructions on how to file weekly claims. Usually done online every Sunday for the previous week.

The whole experience of losing a minimum wage job and filing for unemployment can be really stressful, especially if it's your first time. Don't be afraid to ask questions and advocate for yourself if something doesn't seem right with your claim.

0 coins

Thank you everyone for all the helpful advice! I feel much more confident about filing now.

You're welcome! We've all been there at some point. The community here is great for support when you need it.

For future reference, Washington ESD customer service told me deposits can come anytime between Monday night and Wednesday morning depending on bank processing times and system load. Tuesday morning is just the most common.

0 coins

When did you talk to customer service? I can never get through to them

0 coins

Used that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier. Actually worked pretty well for getting connected.

Final update - seems like everyone who was waiting got their deposits between 4pm and 6pm today. Must have been some kind of processing delay on Washington ESD's end.

0 coins

Thanks everyone for the help and reassurance. At least now I know this can happen and not to panic immediately.

0 coins

Glad it worked out for everyone. These delays happen occasionally but payments do come through eventually.
