Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Just wanted to add - if your claim gets flagged for adjudication, don't panic. It just means they need to review something about your claim. Could be verifying your job separation or work history. Most adjudication issues resolve in 2-3 weeks.
That's definitely longer than usual. You might want to try contacting them to check on the status. Sometimes claims get stuck and need a little push.

Based on what you've described, you should definitely qualify. Laid off through no fault of your own, decent work history, sounds like you meet all the basic requirements. Go ahead and file - worst case scenario they say no, but I doubt that will happen.

Document everything - screenshot your claim status, payment history, and any messages in your account. If this gets escalated you'll want to have all that information ready.

One more thing - if your claim gets complicated and you need to reach ESD by phone, definitely consider using Claimyr. I wish I'd known about it earlier in my claim process. Would have saved me tons of time and frustration.

For anyone still waiting - the longest I've seen is 6 weeks for first payment, but that was with multiple issues on the claim. Most people get paid within 3-4 weeks if there are no problems.

Got my first payment today after exactly 3 weeks! $1,847 for 3 weeks of benefits (minus the waiting week). Keep filing everyone, it will come through eventually.
