Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

One more thing to consider - if you had multiple employers during your base period, Washington ESD sometimes gets confused about which wages belong to which quarter. I had to provide detailed pay stubs to prove when I actually earned specific amounts.
I did switch jobs in the middle of last year. Maybe that's part of the confusion with my calculation.
Very likely! Job changes during the base period often cause calculation errors. Make sure they have accurate wage records from both employers.

One more thing to consider - if you're self-employed or have other income sources, make sure your lender understands that the unemployment was temporary. Some lenders get nervous about unemployment income even if it's legitimate.

My advice is to file as soon as you become unemployed, even if you're not sure about the benefit amount. The process takes time and you don't want to lose any weeks of eligibility.

Definitely do that. You can always ask questions later, but you can't backdate your claim easily.

one more thing - keep filing those weekly claims even if your payment gets delayed or stopped. you cant go back and claim weeks you missed

Just wanted to add that if you have any issues during the process, don't give up! The system can be frustrating but there are people who can help. I had to appeal my initial denial and eventually got it sorted out. Persistence pays off.
