Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Listen everyone keeps talking about your HEARING but nobody's addressing your OPEN ISSUES question. After 9 weeks you need to be AGGRESSIVE about getting those fixed. Call your state rep like someone mentioned AND call UC every single day. I had to call 57 times in one day before getting through. The open issues won't magically disappear even if you win your appeal.

just an update i checked my money network transaction history from last time and it says "ACH deposit" for UC payments if that helps u know what to look for
UPDATE: The money just hit my account this morning (Monday)! So that was about 4 business days after the pay date. Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions. Definitely took longer than I expected but at least it's here now.

Used Claimyr last week to get through to UC after trying for days on my own. Got connected in about 20 minutes. The agent found that my payment method kept switching because there was an employer protest on my account that wasn't visible to me in the portal. She fixed it and released my last 3 payments that had been stuck. Worth trying if you're desperate!

@casual_commenter It's actually legit - they don't access your UC account or anything. They just keep calling the PA UC number until they get through to a human, then call you and connect you. It's basically paying someone else to do the endless redialing we all hate.
Update: I finally got through to someone at UC! They found the problem - my employer reported different wages than I did which triggered a review. That's why some payments went to card instead of bank (system default during reviews) and why some were held completely. They're releasing my back payments this week! Such a relief.

Just thought I'd update you - I called the PA Treasury (not UC) about my compromised card last time, and they were actually more helpful than UC. The number should be on the back of your Money Network card. They can sometimes tell you exactly what happened and expedite a replacement.
That's a great tip! I still have my old card so I'll try calling the Treasury number on the back. Maybe they can at least tell me why it was flagged as compromised.
Just to give you some peace of mind while you work on this: when payments have nowhere to go because of a closed Money Network account, they typically get held in the system for up to 45 days. So your money won't be lost - it's just a matter of establishing a new payment method before you can access it. The fastest solution is usually to get through to a live person at UC who can update your payment preferences immediately.
That 45-day timeframe is really helpful to know, thank you! I managed to get through to someone using that Claimyr service another person mentioned. They're sending me a paper check for this week's payment and helped me fix the direct deposit issue for future payments. Turns out I had my account number typed wrong last time!

One more important thing: Once you do file, you'll need to file biweekly claims (not weekly like some states). PA UC requires you to file every two weeks to certify you're still eligible. Make sure you do this even if your initial claim is still pending or has issues. You can't go back and file these later if you miss them. Also, for your work search requirements, keep detailed records of all activities - PA requires you to do this even if they don't ask for the records immediately.

Based on what you've shared, you should be in good shape for a new claim. The fact that your previous disqualification was within a benefit year that has already ended means it won't affect your new claim.
