UPDATE: I found the direct deposit section! It was under Payment Information > Update Payment Method > Direct Deposit. You have to click through several screens to find it. My bank info was there but it wasn't "verified" yet. I had to re-enter it and complete an additional verification step. As for my first week, I'm going to report my earnings and answer yes to being able and available to work since that's what everyone is recommending. Thanks for all the help everyone!
Congrats on getting through! Quick question - did they mention anything about your back weeks? Like, did you have to do anything special to claim those? I'm in week 3 of waiting and getting worried.
The supervisor said all my weekly claims that I'd been filing would be processed together in one lump sum since they were all filed on time. So make sure you keep filing every week even while you're waiting for approval! I filed 5 weeks worth while waiting, and the system shows they're all being paid together now.
Just for future reference, for anyone reading this thread - when your claim is stuck in review, here's what you should do: 1. Keep filing your weekly claims on time, every week 2. Document ALL work search activities (PA requires at least 3 per week now) 3. Call the UC service center as early as possible (right at 8am) 4. If you're facing financial hardship (eviction, utility shutoff, etc.), specifically ask for a hardship review 5. If the first rep can't help, politely ask to speak with a supervisor 6. Check your dashboard daily for updates 7. Make sure your contact info is current in the system The system is frustrating but persistence pays off eventually.
My neighbor had the SAME PROBLEM last month!!! He said he went to the ACTUAL UC OFFICE in person and they fixed it right there!! Sometimes u gotta show up in person when the online stuff is broken!!
This is partially correct information. While PA UC does have physical offices, they operate on an appointment-only basis now, not walk-ins. You need to schedule through the PA CareerLink system. That said, for identity verification issues, an in-person appointment can indeed resolve things quickly if you bring proper identification documents.
FINAL UPDATE: Success!! The IDme trusted referee video call worked perfectly. The rep was super helpful and verified my identity using my driver's license and birth certificate. About an hour after the call, I was able to log into my UC portal again! And the best news - I was able to file for both missed weeks without any issues. The system accepted them as if nothing happened. Payment is pending for all weeks now. HUGE relief! Thanks to everyone who helped me figure this out!

Also, as this case demonstrates, as long as you file within the 2-week window, you won't lose your benefits even if verification issues temporarily prevent access.

After reading through this thread, I'd suggest you: 1. Try calling at 7:59am as suggested (this does work better) 2. Consider the Claimyr service if you continue having trouble getting through 3. Gather your evidence about the rule violation situation (especially those text messages) 4. Prepare a clear timeline of both job separations 5. Be ready to explain why you shouldn't be disqualified for either separation Remember that once you do get through to someone, they can often resolve multiple issues in one call. UPDATE: I finally got through! Used the Claimyr service after three more days of failed calling attempts. The examiner was able to see all my issues and said my first separation (the early termination during notice period) was actually approved weeks ago but the system hadn't processed it correctly. For the second job, they're sending me a questionnaire about the rule violation situation. They also scheduled a phone interview for next week. The representative said once that's done, I should start receiving payments for the eligible weeks. Such a relief to at least know what's happening now!
