my brother had this happen and he just waited and didnt file anything and his benefits just stopped forever lol. dont do that
UPDATE: I filed my new claim last night and was able to speak with someone at UC this morning using that Claimyr service (it actually worked!). The agent confirmed I should file my weekly claim too. She said my new claim should be processed within 7-10 days and payments might only be delayed by 1-2 weeks max. She also noted this in my account to help speed things up. Thanks everyone for the advice!
the whole system is BROKEN. they make it complicated on purpose so people give up. i hate PA unemployment so much!!!!!
Update: I FINALLY got it working! For anyone else with this problem, here's what fixed it for me: 1. Called Money Network at exactly 7:00am to avoid the wait 2. Asked them to completely reset my online access 3. Waited the full 24 hours they recommended 4. Used Microsoft Edge browser in private browsing mode 5. Made sure to use ALL CAPS for my name exactly as it appears on the card Now I can see that I actually did get both my payments but they were less than I expected because of the tax withholding I selected. Thanks everyone for your help!
Excellent! Glad you got it resolved. The ALL CAPS name format is a strange requirement they don't mention anywhere in their instructions. I've seen this trip up many claimants. For future reference, you can also adjust your tax withholding preferences on your PA UC dashboard if you want to change how much is taken out.
lol everybody acting like 5 days is some huge wait time. i waited 6 WEEKS last year when they flagged my account for "out of state ip address" just cuz i was using my sisters wifi. pa uc is completly broken, dont expect anything to be fast
Quick update on timing expectations: According to the PA UC processing schedules for 2025, they're processing new gig/part-time income reports within 5-7 business days right now due to staffing issues. So if you reported that $65 income, you're still within the normal processing window. If nothing changes by next Tuesday, then I'd definitely reach out.
THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! I've been dealing with this EXACT issue for THREE WEEKS NOW!!! Called 37 times (yes I counted) and either get a busy signal or the automated message saying they're too busy. Left 5 messages in their callback system and NOTHING! They have ONE JOB! How hard is it to get tax forms out on time?? And then when you go to the "self-service" options online NOTHING WORKS PROPERLY! I'm filing a complaint with my state representative because this is UNACCEPTABLE!!
Update for everyone: I just spoke with someone at PA UC (finally got through this morning), and they mentioned there was a system-wide issue with 1099-G forms for people who received benefits crossing over from December 2023 to January 2024. They're aware of the problem and working on getting all the missing forms generated by next week. If you need your form urgently for tax filing, they recommended speaking directly with an agent who can manually generate the form for you.
Thank you so much for this update! That explains a lot. I did receive benefits that crossed from December into January. I'm going to try calling again tomorrow morning, and if that doesn't work, I might try that Claimyr service someone mentioned above. Really appreciate you sharing this info!

Just wanted to add - if your new determination still doesn't look right, request a wage investigation! Sometimes employers don't report wages correctly or they get recorded under the wrong quarter. Happened to my sister and took 6 weeks to fix but she eventually got everything she was entitled to.
