Update: My benefits finally came through! It took 17 days total from when I filed. Based on comments here, I tried both Claimyr to reach an agent (worked surprisingly well) and also contacted my state assembly member's office. Not sure which one did the trick, but I got a call yesterday saying my claim was approved and this morning all my back benefits were in my account! Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions during this stressful time.
btw make sure u have ur proper wages handy when u apply. i messed up and had to send in like 3 months of paystubs cause i guessed wrong on my wages. total pain in the butt
Thanks everyone for all the info! I just submitted my application yesterday. It was actually easier than I expected. They asked about my reduced hours and I made sure to say it was due to lack of work (which is true). Now I'm just waiting for them to process it. Fingers crossed it goes through without issues!
Glad to hear you applied! Don't forget that once approved, you'll need to claim benefits (certify) every week, even if your claim is still pending. Make sure you report your exact hours and wages for each week. Good luck!
anybody know if they're still doing those extra $300 supplemental payments? my friend said he got one but i haven't seen anything about it on the website
FINAL UPDATE: My payment finally came through today! What worked was: 1) Clicking that verification button the former employee mentioned, and 2) I did end up using the Claimyr service yesterday which got me through to someone who could tell me exactly when to expect payment. Thanks everyone for your help - this community saved me so much stress!

Update: I was finally able to verify my CTC payments! Used that Claimyr service to get through to an IRS agent (only took about 15 minutes) and confirmed I received exactly $1,800 like I thought. Filed my taxes yesterday and already got the acceptance notification from the IRS. Thanks everyone for your help!

•Great to hear! For anyone else in a similar situation, remember you can also access your tax records through the IRS online account system if you prefer not to call. You'll need to create an ID.me account first, which takes about 15-20 minutes to set up.
