Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

I JUST went through this last week! My transcript said Wednesday, but I didn't actually see the deposit until Thursday morning around 4am. So don't freak out if it's not there right at midnight. The banking system sometimes takes a bit longer than expected.

Everybody in the comments is just guessing based on their own experience. If you want to know FOR SURE, use taxr.ai - it's WAY more accurate than Reddit guesses. It reads your transcript and tells you exactly what's happening and when you'll get paid. I checked my transcript for weeks trying to figure it out myself before finding this tool.

Hey friend I've ben through this whole mess myself. The key is understanding your transcript - it shows everything happening with your return even when the agents won't tell you. A friend showed me taxr.ai and it was a complete game changer - it explained all the IRS codes and showed me exactly what was happening with my return. Saved me from having to talk to these unhelpful IRS people altogether.

FWIW i had an 810 freeze back in February that cleared by itself after about 45 days. But then I got hit with ANOTHER freeze in August after they released my first refund. Spent ages trying to figure out what was happening. Someone mentioned taxr.ai in another thread. I tried it - gave me a complete breakdown of my account and exactly where things went wrong. Totally worth checking out if you're stuck trying to decode all those transcript codes.

you just upload your transcript that you already downloaded from the irs website. it analyzes the data that's already there and explains it. way better than trying to google every code and piece it all together yourself.

File a complaint with the IRS Office of Professional Responsibility. That preparer is engaging in unethical practices and needs to be reported. Also file a complaint with your state's board of accountancy if they claim to be a CPA. These people need to be stopped.

Same! Recovery rebate seems to trigger extra scrutiny. Been waiting 15 weeks now.

No update for me yet (cycle 05) but last year my refund came exactly 16 weeks after filing. Currently on week 14, so trying to stay patient. The IRS moves in mysterious ways lol

STOP CHECKING WMR!!! It rarely updates correctly. Go to IRS.gov, login to your account, and check your transcript instead. It will show actual codes and dates that tell you what's happening.

Have you verified your identity? I had the same message for weeks and then realized they needed me to verify my identity through ID.me but never sent me any notification. After I did that, got my refund in 10 days.
