If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

After struggling with my transcript for weeks and trying to figure out what all the codes meant, I finally checked out taxr.ai that someone recommended here. It was literally life-changing - explained everything in simple terms and gave me a clear understanding of my situation. Highly recommend to anyone confused about their transcript or refund status.

The difference is that it actually works! It's not just generic info - it looks at YOUR specific transcript and breaks everything down. I was about to pay a tax pro $200 to explain my transcript but this did it instantly.

Just tried this after seeing your comment. Wish I'd known about it months ago! Would have saved me so much stress trying to decode all these random numbers and codes.

Did anybody get a different refund amount than what they were expecting? My 846 showed up today but the amount is about $340 less than what I calculated.

I do see a 971 from last week. Guess I'll have to wait for the notice in the mail to find out what they changed šŸ™„

You can use taxr.ai to understand the changes they made - it explains all the transcript codes and adjustments without waiting for snail mail.

I finally got thru to the IRS yesterday using claimyr.com after trying on my own for weeks (seriously the regular number is impossible). They actually told me my refund had been approved yesterday morning but WMR hadn't updated yet! So sometimes their systems are just behind. The agent was able to see that my 810 code was released two days ago and I should get my deposit by next week. talking to someone who could actually see my account details was a huge relief.

how does claimyr work? does it just call for you?

basically yeah! it navigates thru all the phone menus and waits on hold, then calls you when it gets a human. saved me like 3 hours of hold music

Have you tried contacting the Taxpayer Advocate Service? They can sometimes help if you're experiencing financial hardship due to the delay. Just google "contact taxpayer advocate service" and your state.

I've been going thru this EXACT identity verification nightmare for months!! I ended up breaking down and using taxr.ai after seeing it recommended here, and it was incredibly helpful. It showed me exactly what was happening with my refund (there was an identity verification hold AND an income verification issue I didn't know about). It gave me super clear steps to resolve both issues. The tool basically translated all the cryptic IRS codes and timelines into actual English. Found out my letter was sent to my old address even though I updated it everywhere! https://taxr.ai

Did you have to provide personal info to use that site? Always nervous about giving tax info to random websites

You upload your transcript but it's encrypted and secure. They don't store your personal data. I was hesitant too but at that point I was desperate for answers. The site is legit - they explain exactly what's happening with your specific refund situation.

CONGRATS ON THE BABY!! šŸ„°šŸ‘¶ Sorry you're dealing with IRS headaches on top of newborn stress. If you're really in a pinch waiting for your refund, consider calling the Taxpayer Advocate Service at 877-777-4778. They can sometimes help if you're experiencing financial hardship (like not being able to pay for essentials). Explain your situation with the new baby and income issues - they might be able to expedite things.

Are you claiming any tax credits like EITC or child tax credit? Those automatically get extra scrutiny and often require verification even if you don't get a letter. The IRS is terrible about actually sending the notices they're supposed to.

Yes I claimed EITC this year! That might be why. Should I just call them directly then?

0 coins

Definitely call them. EITC claims are automatically flagged for additional review and they're supposed to send verification letters, but those often get lost or delayed.

Had this exact issue! I uploaded my transcript to taxr.ai and immediately understood what was going on. Turns out I had a verification hold but never got any letter. The tool explained which forms I needed to submit and how to resolve it. I'm telling everyone about this now because the IRS makes everything so confusing on purpose istg.

In theory yes, but have you tried calling the IRS lately? 🤣 I spent WEEKS trying to get through. This tool cost less than taking a day off work to sit on hold. And it actually explained things in normal human language instead of IRS code-speak.

I tried taxr.ai after seeing it mentioned here and wow, it's actually legit. Explained my transcript way better than anything else I found online.

I recommend pulling ur tax transcript if u can. U can see EXACTLY wats happening with ur return. The IRS has specific codes that show if its being processed, under review, etc. I couldnt figure out why mine was delayed until I saw code 570 on my transcript which meant they were reviewing something. Much more useful than the generic "still processing" message on Where's My Refund.

The codes are super confusing tho. I had no idea what any of them meant when I checked mine

If you're confused by transcript codes, check out taxr.ai - it explains what all the codes mean and actually tells you when to expect your refund based on your specific situation. Just used it last week and it was spot on!

not to freak you out but i had this happen 2 years ago and it turned out someone had filed a fraudulent return using my SSN. definitely check your transcript or call the IRS to make sure everything is ok.

Oh god that's terrifying. How did you resolve it?

had to file an identity theft affidavit (form 14039) and paper file my return. took almost 9 months to get my refund. not saying this is happening to u but better to check sooner than later!
