Bottom line - 26 weeks maximum for regular UI in Washington, but make sure you're meeting all the requirements like job searches and filing weekly claims. And don't wait until the last minute to figure out what you'll do when benefits run out.
Just wanted to update everyone - my claim that was stuck in awaiting processing for 18 days finally got approved this morning! Hang in there everyone, it does eventually happen.
This thread has been really helpful. I was starting to think there was something wrong with my claim since it's been awaiting processing for 2 weeks, but sounds like that's totally normal. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences!
Hope everything works out for you OP. Toxic work environments are no joke and can really mess with your health. Just make sure you protect yourself financially while you figure out your next steps. There are resources out there to help, you just have to know where to look.
For what it's worth, I've been using claimyr too when I need to reach Washington ESD quickly. Their service has been pretty reliable and saves me from spending entire days trying to get through. Might be worth the cost if you need definitive answers before making major life decisions.
Several people have mentioned claimyr now, so it sounds like it might be worth checking out. I'll look into it this week.

One more thing - if you had any union representation at your job, they might be able to help with information about your termination or even representation during the Washington ESD process.

•Unfortunately it wasn't a union job, but that's good advice for others in similar situations.

Final update from OP: Just wanted to thank everyone for the advice. My adjudication is still pending but I feel much more confident about my chances now. I've been keeping up with my weekly claims and job search activities. Will update when I hear back from Washington ESD!

•If you need to contact Washington ESD for any updates on your case, remember that Claimyr option people mentioned. Saved me a lot of frustration when I was in a similar spot.
