If you need to check on your adjudication status, that's another thing where talking to an actual Washington ESD agent can be really helpful. They can tell you exactly what's holding up your claim.
Yeah I might need to try that Claimyr thing you mentioned if this drags on much longer. Getting really anxious about paying bills.
The Washington ESD system is honestly a mess when it comes to showing important info like benefit balances. I've been through this with several family members and it's always a struggle to find basic account information.
UPDATE: I finally found it! There's a link called 'View Benefit Information' that wasn't obvious at first. It shows your total benefit amount and how much you have left. Had to dig around for like 30 minutes but it's there.
This whole discussion has been really informative. I had no idea self-employed people could potentially qualify under certain circumstances.
Thanks for asking this question OP. I'm in a similar boat with my photography business and part-time retail work. This gives me hope I might qualify too.
Thanks! I'll probably use that Claimyr service too if I need to talk to someone at Washington ESD.
This thread has been really helpful. I'm in a similar situation and didn't realize there were so many potential causes for payment delays. Going to check all these things in my account.
Final update from me - if anyone is still having trouble getting through to Washington ESD, I can't recommend Claimyr enough. I've used them three times now and every time I get connected to an agent within minutes instead of hours. Check out their demo video to see how it works.
Thanks for all your help in this thread! I'm going to try the suggestions here first and then maybe try Claimyr if I still can't get answers.

The most important thing is just to get started. Don't overthink it - the system will walk you through most of the steps. I was so intimidated when I first had to file but it's really not as complicated as it seems once you get going.

•Good luck! And remember to file those weekly claims every week - that's the key to actually getting your benefits.

One last thing - if you run into problems reaching Washington ESD by phone, that Claimyr service really does work. I used it twice when I had issues and both times got connected to an agent who could actually help me. Worth trying if you get stuck.

•Seconding this - used Claimyr when my claim was stuck and finally got answers. The regular phone system is just impossible to get through.

•I'll keep that in mind if I run into any issues. Thanks again everyone!
