This thread was really helpful! I had the same question and was worried about my job situation too. Good to know Washington ESD looks at total work history.
The 26-week maximum is per benefit year, so if you exhaust your benefits and later become unemployed again, you'd need to requalify with new work history. But for your current situation, you should have the full duration available.
I used Claimyr when I had adjudication issues with my claim last year. Really worth it when you actually need to talk to someone at Washington ESD. Their regular phone system is designed to make you give up.
Thanks everyone for all the suggestions! I'm going to try the Claimyr service first since multiple people said it worked for them, and if that doesn't work I'll try some of the other options. Will update this thread once I get through to Washington ESD.
UPDATE: Used Claimyr this afternoon and got connected to Washington ESD in about 50 minutes! Turns out my claim was flagged because I didn't submit my job search log for one week (I thought it was optional). The agent walked me through submitting it online and released my pending payments. Should see the money in my account within 2 business days. Can't believe I was stressing for weeks over something so simple! Thanks again to everyone who suggested Claimyr - definitely worth it to avoid the phone runaround.
amazing! definitely going to try claimyr for my issue too
One last thing - keep copies of everything. Print out or screenshot your application confirmation, any correspondence from ESD, and keep your own records of your weekly claims. If there are ever any issues, you'll be glad you have the documentation.
Hope it goes smoothly for you! The system isn't perfect but it does work once you get through the initial setup. Just remember to file those weekly claims on time.

Update: I tried that Claimyr service someone mentioned and actually got through to ESD in 15 minutes. The rep told me my appeal decision was mailed yesterday! Thanks for the tip.

Whatever the outcome, you did everything you could. That's all anyone can do with this system.

•Thanks, I needed to hear that. Some days I feel like I should have done more to prepare.

•Second-guessing yourself won't change anything now. You presented your case and that's what matters.
