Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. has anyone tried appealing a short duration? i feel like i should have gotten more weeks based on my work history but not sure if thats even possible to challenge

Quick reminder that your weekly benefit amount stays the same for the entire duration - it doesn't decrease over time or anything like that. Whatever your weekly amount is, that's what you'll get each week you qualify.

Just remember that if you have any issues with your claim or questions about your specific situation, don't hesitate to contact Washington ESD directly. Sometimes the general rules don't apply to everyone's unique circumstances.

And if you can't get through on the phone, that Claimyr service I mentioned earlier really does help with reaching ESD agents when you need to talk to someone.
Bottom line: 26 weeks maximum, but make sure you meet all the requirements and keep up with your weekly claims and job search activities. You should be fine with your work history.

Update: I finally got through to Washington ESD using the claimyr service someone recommended. Set up a $60/month payment plan for my $2,800 overpayment. The representative was actually really helpful once I got connected. Thanks everyone for the advice!
