good luck with your claim! remember that even if you get denied initially, you can always appeal the decision. don't give up if the first answer isn't what you want to hear
Just one final tip - once you do get approved and start receiving benefits, don't spend all your time just applying for jobs online. Try to mix in some in-person networking, job fairs, that kind of thing. It looks better for your job search log and you might actually find opportunities that aren't posted online.
Washington ESD customer service has gotten way better in the last couple years. Even if you don't need Claimyr, the regular phone lines are more manageable now than they used to be.
Just wanted to add that the sooner you file, the sooner your waiting week starts. In Washington you have to serve one unpaid waiting week before benefits begin, so don't delay if you think you qualify.
Just had a thought - are you making sure to accept any suitable work offers? Washington ESD can deny benefits if they think you're being too picky about jobs, especially when unemployment is low.
I'd definitely recommend trying that Claimyr thing to get through to Washington ESD. I used it a few weeks ago when my weekly claim got stuck and couldn't file online. Saved me from missing a week of benefits while trying to get through on the phone.
If you're trying to estimate your benefit amount before filing, you really need to gather your wage information from your base period quarters. Your pay stubs or tax documents from that time period will give you the most accurate picture for the calculation.
One last thing - if you're getting close to the maximum benefit amount, double-check that all your employers properly reported your wages to Washington ESD. Sometimes there are discrepancies that can affect your benefit calculation.
You can request a wage transcript from Washington ESD, or if you need to discuss discrepancies, that's another situation where getting through to an actual representative can be really helpful. The Claimyr service that was mentioned earlier could be useful for that kind of issue too.

For anyone trying to reach Washington ESD about unreported wages, I had success using that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier. They got me through to an agent who walked me through exactly what documentation I needed to send. Saved me weeks of trying to call on my own.

•Did they help you actually resolve the issue or just get you connected?

•They just handle getting you connected to an actual Washington ESD agent. Once you're on the phone, you deal directly with the state employee. But that's the hard part - actually getting through to someone who can help.

UPDATE: I finally got through to Washington ESD after using Claimyr. The agent was actually really helpful and explained that since I'm self-reporting the unreported wages, it's just going to be treated as an overpayment. I have to pay back $85 (the amount I shouldn't have received for that week) but no penalties or fraud charges. Huge relief!

•About 2 weeks total. Most of that was waiting for them to review my case after I submitted the wage documentation. The actual phone call with the agent only took about 15 minutes.

•This gives me so much hope. I'm going to try Claimyr today and hopefully get this resolved quickly like you did.
