Just wanted to say thanks for all the helpful info in this thread! I'm definitely going to file for partial benefits now that I know it's an option. Really appreciate everyone sharing their experiences.
I used Claimyr when I couldn't get through to check on my adjudication status and they connected me right away. Definitely recommend if you need to actually talk to someone at Washington ESD instead of just checking your account online.
Does the benefit amount ever change once it's set? Like if I get a job and then get laid off again later?
Thanks everyone for all the explanations! This thread helped me understand my benefit calculation way better than the Washington ESD website did.
I remember last year around this time there was some confusion about this same thing. Payment schedules stayed normal but a lot of people were asking about it on social media.

Been reading through all these responses and feeling more confident about applying. Sounds like as long as you're honest about earnings and keep looking for additional work, the process is pretty straightforward. Going to start my application this week.

One last tip - take screenshots of your weekly claims after you submit them. If there's ever a dispute about what you reported, having your own records helps a lot with Washington ESD.

•Great advice! I'll definitely start doing that from day one.

•Smart thinking. I keep a folder on my computer with all my Washington ESD screenshots and documents.
