Good luck with your appeal! Sounds like you have a solid case. The waiting is horrible but try to stay positive.
Just want to add that the WorkSource website has a lot of helpful resources once you're receiving benefits. They have job search tools, resume builders, and training programs that might be worth checking out while you're looking for work.
The whole process took about 3 weeks from application to first payment for me, and that was without any complications. Just be patient and make sure you file your weekly claims even while you're waiting for approval. Good luck!
Also remember you have to do job search activities even while your claim is being processed, so start keeping track of where you apply from day one.
Filed mine 3 days after being laid off and regretted waiting even that long. Every single person I talked to at Washington ESD said the same thing - file immediately. There's literally no downside to filing early.
Update us in a few weeks on how things go! Always interested to hear how people navigate this situation.

Just remember for everyone reading this - if your payment is seriously delayed (like more than a week), don't just wait. Contact Washington ESD because there might be an actual issue with your claim.

•Great advice. I was probably going to call Monday if it hadn't shown up by then.

•And if you can't get through their regular lines, definitely check out Claimyr. Makes the whole process so much easier.

•No problem! Glad it helped. These delays seem pretty common so hopefully others find this useful too.
