Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

The job market can be tough when you're visibly pregnant, but remember that the unemployment job search requirement is about making good faith efforts, not necessarily getting hired. Document your applications and interviews, and you'll be fine.
That's a good way to think about it. I was putting too much pressure on myself to actually get hired quickly.
Right - the system recognizes that not everyone finds work immediately. That's the whole point of unemployment benefits, to provide support during the job search process.
If you do end up having any issues with your claim, don't hesitate to file an appeal. The appeals process exists for a reason, and pregnancy discrimination cases are taken seriously. But honestly, I doubt you'll have any problems.
Hopefully it won't come to that, but good to know appeals are an option if needed.
Most pregnancy-related unemployment claims go through without any issues. The system is designed to be fair, and pregnancy is a well-established protected status.

Thanks everyone for all the advice and support. I'm going to try a combination of these strategies and hopefully get through soon. It's nice to know I'm not alone in this struggle.

Just want to add that even if your claim gets approved, your former employer might still contest it. That can delay your benefits but doesn't necessarily mean you won't get them. Stay patient and keep filing your weekly claims.

Exactly right. Employer contests are common but don't automatically mean denial.

If anyone else is dealing with Washington ESD appeal issues, that Claimyr thing really does work. Used it myself when I couldn't get through to ask about my hearing date. Much better than sitting on hold for hours.

remember to keep detailed records of everything - when you submitted your appeal, what documents you included, any correspondence from washington esd. helps if there are any issues later
