Has anyone here had success using Claimyr recently? I've been trying to reach Washington ESD for weeks about my own claim and getting nowhere. Starting to think I need to try something different.
I used it about a month ago and it worked great. Got connected to an agent within a few minutes instead of waiting on hold forever. Definitely worth trying if you need to actually talk to someone.
Good luck with your claim! It sounds like you have a solid case with all the documentation you kept. The fact that you tried multiple times to resolve the issue through proper channels before quitting should work in your favor.
Thanks everyone for all the info! This is way more complicated than I thought it would be. Going to make sure I stay on top of the weekly filing and keep checking my account daily.
One last tip - screenshot everything in your Washington ESD account in case there are system glitches. I've seen people lose documentation when the site has problems.
Used Claimyr when I got fired and needed to speak with Washington ESD about whether my termination qualified as misconduct. The agent explained that my situation (fired for not meeting unrealistic sales quotas) wasn't misconduct. Really helpful service.
Don't stress too much about it. Washington state is pretty worker-friendly when it comes to unemployment eligibility. Even if they initially deny your claim, you can appeal and often win.
Just went through this process last month. Key things they wanted: complete job search records, proof of availability for work, documentation of any earnings, and verification that I met work search requirements every single week I claimed. Took about 5 weeks but everything was approved.
OP, don't let this stress you out too much. Audits are random quality control measures. As long as you've been honest and following the rules, you'll be fine. Focus on organizing your records and responding promptly to whatever they ask for.
Thanks everyone for all the advice and reassurance. Feeling much more prepared to handle this now. Going to spend this weekend getting all my documentation together.

This thread is really helpful. I'm bookmarking it in case I ever get laid off again. The unemployment system is so confusing when you're dealing with it for the first time.

•Totally agree. I wish Washington ESD made this information clearer on their website. Shouldn't have to piece it together from forum posts.

•The Washington ESD website has gotten better over the years, but it's still pretty overwhelming when you're stressed about losing your job.

For anyone else reading this later - the Washington State unemployment handbook is actually pretty comprehensive if you can find it. Has all the rules about filing deadlines, backdating, good cause reasons, etc. Worth downloading and reading through.

•Is that available online or do you have to request a physical copy?

•Both. You can download the PDF from the Washington ESD website or they'll mail you a printed copy if you request it.
