Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Good luck with your claim! The majority of people fired for performance reasons do get approved eventually. Just be patient with the process and don't give up if there are delays.

One last tip - if you do need to reach Washington ESD and can't get through on the regular phone lines, that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier actually works. I was skeptical at first but when I was desperate to check on my adjudication status, it got me through to an actual person in like 10 minutes instead of hours of busy signals.
I bookmarked their site just in case. Hopefully I won't need it but good to have as a backup option.

Keep your confirmation numbers from when you filed your weekly claim. If there's ever a problem with payments, Washington ESD will ask for those numbers to track down what happened.

Remember that even if Washington ESD takes a while to make their determination, you can still file weekly claims and get back pay if approved. Don't let the wait discourage you from continuing the process.

If you do quit, make sure you understand the work search requirements. You'll need to be actively looking for work and document your job search activities.
How many jobs do you have to apply to each week?
I think it's 3 job search activities per week in Washington, but check the current requirements since they change sometimes.
The bottom line is that quitting for good cause is possible but you need to build a solid case first. Don't quit impulsively - plan it out and document everything.
