If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Final advice: keep records of EVERYTHING. Save confirmation numbers from your weekly claims, keep your job search log updated, save any correspondence from Washington ESD. You'll thank yourself later if any problems come up.

Screenshots are your friend too. The ESD website sometimes has glitches and having proof of what you submitted can save you headaches

Will definitely do that. This thread has been incredibly helpful - way more info than I expected to get!

Hope your claim goes smoothly! The Washington unemployment system isn't perfect but the benefits are decent and it really helps bridge the gap while job hunting. Good luck with everything!

Thank you! Feeling much more confident about the process now

0 coins

Good luck with your claim! The majority of people fired for performance reasons do get approved eventually. Just be patient with the process and don't give up if there are delays.

Thank you everyone for all the helpful advice! I feel much more confident about applying now.

You've got this! The system works better than people think, it's just slow sometimes.

One last tip - if you do need to reach Washington ESD and can't get through on the regular phone lines, that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier actually works. I was skeptical at first but when I was desperate to check on my adjudication status, it got me through to an actual person in like 10 minutes instead of hours of busy signals.

I bookmarked their site just in case. Hopefully I won't need it but good to have as a backup option.

Same here, I've heard too many horror stories about people never getting through to Washington ESD on their own.

Update us when your payment comes through! I'm curious how long it actually takes since I might be in the same situation soon.

Will do! Hopefully I'll have good news by tomorrow.

Keep your confirmation numbers from when you filed your weekly claim. If there's ever a problem with payments, Washington ESD will ask for those numbers to track down what happened.

0 coins

Good advice, I did save the confirmation number from this week's filing.

0 coins

Smart. Those numbers are super important if you ever need to dispute payment issues or prove you filed on time.

0 coins

Remember that even if Washington ESD takes a while to make their determination, you can still file weekly claims and get back pay if approved. Don't let the wait discourage you from continuing the process.

0 coins

That's really important to know. I was worried about losing weeks if the decision took too long.

0 coins

Nope, as long as you keep filing your weekly claims, you'll get back pay for any weeks you're found eligible for benefits.

0 coins

Bottom line - being fired doesn't automatically disqualify you. Washington generally sides with workers unless there's clear evidence of willful misconduct. File your claim and let them sort it out.

0 coins

That's exactly what I needed to hear. Filing was the right move even though I was unsure.

0 coins

Absolutely. Better to file and potentially get denied than not file at all and definitely get nothing.

If you do quit, make sure you understand the work search requirements. You'll need to be actively looking for work and document your job search activities.

0 coins

How many jobs do you have to apply to each week?

0 coins

I think it's 3 job search activities per week in Washington, but check the current requirements since they change sometimes.

0 coins

The bottom line is that quitting for good cause is possible but you need to build a solid case first. Don't quit impulsively - plan it out and document everything.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to start documenting everything and try to talk to ESD before making any decisions.

Smart move. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
