Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. One last thing to consider - make sure you understand if your severance includes any continuation of benefits. That might affect your eligibility for certain programs while you're unemployed.
Good point. My severance does include health insurance continuation for 2 months. I'll make sure to mention that when I file.

Set up direct deposit if you haven't already. Payments come faster than waiting for the debit card to arrive.
How long does direct deposit usually take?
Usually 1-2 business days after you certify, assuming no issues with your claim.
i messed up my first certification and put the wrong info, had to call and get it corrected. lesson learned to double check everything before submitting
Were you able to get it fixed easily?
took a while to get through but they fixed it. thats when i learned about the claimyr service from someone else on here

The bottom line is that performance-related terminations usually qualify for unemployment benefits in Washington. You should be fine as long as you file promptly and are honest about what happened.
