If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Just remember that Washington ESD is required to make a determination within a certain timeframe. If it goes much beyond 3-4 weeks without any communication, that's when you should definitely try to contact them.

Good to know there's an actual timeline they're supposed to follow. That gives me some reassurance.

0 coins

Yes, they have federal requirements for timeliness. Most claims that take longer than 4 weeks have some specific issue that needs resolution.

Hang in there! I know it's stressful but most claims do get approved eventually. The system is slow but it generally works if you were legitimately unemployed through no fault of your own.

Thanks for the encouragement. This whole situation is new to me so I appreciate everyone's advice and support.

We've all been there! The unemployment process is confusing the first time around, but you'll get through it.

Try logging in at exactly midnight when the day rolls over. Sometimes that resets the lockout timer.

0 coins

That's oddly specific but I'm desperate enough to try anything at this point lol

Worked for me twice! Their system processes a lot of stuff at midnight.

FINAL UPDATE: I got in! Turns out it was the browser cache issue like someone mentioned earlier. Had to completely clear everything and restart my browser twice but it finally worked. Thanks everyone!

Yay! Were you able to file your weekly claim on time?

0 coins

Yes just filed it. Such a relief! Going to bookmark this thread in case it happens again.

I would definitely call Washington ESD if your payment doesn't show up by tomorrow. Don't wait too long because if there is an issue, you want to catch it early.

0 coins

You're right. I'll give it one more day and then I'll call them or use that Claimyr service someone mentioned.

0 coins

Yeah Claimyr is worth trying if you can't get through the normal way. Saved me so much time and frustration.

Just wanted to update everyone - my payment showed up this morning! It was just delayed by one day. Thanks for all the advice and reassurance. I was really panicking for nothing.

0 coins

Oh thank goodness! I was stressed out just reading about your situation lol

This is exactly why I always keep a small emergency fund even on unemployment. These delays are so common.

To wrap up - for most people it's Tuesday payments with direct deposit, Wednesday with debit card, but first payments might take longer. File by Sunday, check your account status online, and don't miss weeks or you lose those benefits. Hope that helps!

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Thanks for being so helpful everyone. This community is awesome.

Update: I got my payment this morning (Tuesday) via direct deposit! Thanks again everyone for the help and advice. Now I know what to expect going forward.

Great to hear! Welcome to the Tuesday payment club.

Congrats! One less thing to worry about.

When I was dealing with a UI tax question for my business, I used Claimyr to get through to Washington ESD. They connected me with an agent who explained the whole rate calculation system. Much easier than trying to call directly.

Same experience here! Claimyr saved me so much time and frustration with the phone system.

Bottom line: Washington employees don't pay UI taxes, employers do. The amount depends on the employer's experience rating. Benefits are funded entirely by employer contributions to Washington ESD.

Thanks everyone! This thread really helped me understand how the whole system works.

Glad we could help clarify the Washington UI tax system for you. It's definitely different from some other states.
