If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Bottom line: expect somewhere between $400-800/week based on your previous income, but don't count on getting it immediately. File as soon as possible and be prepared to wait.

Thanks everyone for all the info! This has been super helpful. I'll file my claim this weekend.

Good luck! The process is annoying but once you get through it, the benefits really help bridge the gap while job hunting.

0 coins

Bottom line is you won't know exactly how much you'll get until you apply and they process your claim. The estimates are helpful but the actual calculation involves a lot of factors. Given your work history it sounds like you should qualify for something decent. Don't let uncertainty stop you from applying - worst case scenario they say no and you're in the same position you are now.

0 coins

You're absolutely right. I'm going to stop overthinking it and just apply. Thanks everyone for all the helpful information!

Good luck with your application! Hope you get approved for a good amount.

Been on unemployment for 8 weeks now and payments have been reliable every Wednesday. The key things are: file your weekly claim every Sunday, keep up with job search requirements, and report any work accurately. Don't overthink it.

0 coins

Thanks for the reassurance! I was worried it would be more complicated than that.

0 coins

It's really not that complicated once you get into the routine. Just stay on top of the weekly filing and you should be fine.

Quick question - does anyone know if holiday weeks affect the payment schedule? Like if Monday is a holiday do payments still come Wednesday?

0 coins

Good question! I've noticed payments sometimes come Thursday instead of Wednesday during holiday weeks. Not a big delay but worth knowing.

0 coins

That's helpful to know for planning. I'll keep an eye on that.

hang in there everyone! the waiting sucks but washington esd is generally pretty fair with approvals if you qualify

0 coins

Thanks for the encouragement! This whole thread has been really helpful.

0 coins

Agreed! It's nice to have a community where people can share their experiences and help each other out.

0 coins

Final advice: don't stress too much about the timing. Focus on your job search and filing weekly claims. The approval will come when it comes, and you'll be ready.

0 coins

You're absolutely right. I need to stop obsessing over checking my claim status every hour!

0 coins

Exactly! Put that energy into productive job searching instead. You've got this!

0 coins

This is exactly why I switched to having my benefits loaded onto the debit card instead of direct deposit. Seems like the card gets loaded more reliably.

0 coins

Really? I thought direct deposit was supposed to be faster.

0 coins

Usually it is, but when there are system issues like this week, the debit card payments seem less affected.

0 coins

Thanks to everyone who shared updates throughout the day. This community is really helpful for staying informed about Washington ESD issues.

0 coins

Absolutely! Much better than trying to figure this out alone.

0 coins

Agreed. These threads save so much time and stress when dealing with unemployment stuff.

0 coins

One more thing to consider - if you have any issues with your claim getting stuck in adjudication or need to speak with someone urgently, services like Claimyr can be a lifesaver. I spent weeks trying to reach Washington ESD about my claim status before using them.

0 coins

I'll keep that in mind. Hopefully I won't need it, but it's good to know there are options if I can't get through on my own.

0 coins

Exactly. Better to know about it ahead of time than waste weeks like I did trying to call repeatedly.

0 coins

Thanks everyone for all the helpful information! I feel much more confident now about potentially qualifying for benefits if I do get laid off. The work requirements seem pretty reasonable.

0 coins

You're welcome! With 8 months of steady work, you should be fine. Just make sure to file your claim as soon as possible after the layoff - there's no waiting period to apply.

0 coins

Will do. Hopefully it won't come to that, but it's good to be prepared.
