Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Whatever you decide, don't let them push you to the point where you do something that could be considered misconduct. If you're going to leave, make sure it's on your terms and for documented reasons.

That sounds like a good plan. Many employment lawyers offer free consultations and can give you a better sense of whether you'd have a strong case for good cause if you do decide to quit.

The weekly benefit amount also depends on when you file. If you file late in the week you might miss that week's payment even if you're eligible.
I filed on Monday so hopefully I'm good for this week. When do payments usually come through?
Usually 2-3 business days after you file your weekly claim, assuming there are no issues with your claim.
One more tip - keep all your documentation about wages, job separation, and job search activities. Washington ESD can request proof of anything at any time and you don't want to be scrambling to find paperwork.

The Washington ESD has really improved their online system over the past couple years. The application process is pretty straightforward now, and you can track your claim status online once you file.

Nah, the hardest part is usually just gathering all your employment information beforehand. The actual filing is pretty user-friendly.
