If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

I'm new to the Money Network card (just got approved last week) and this whole thread has been incredibly helpful! Reading everyone's experiences makes me feel way better about the switch - I was worried I was making a mistake leaving direct deposit, but the 3-day holds from my bank were killing me too. Quick question for everyone who's been using the card longer - do you find it's worth keeping a small amount in your regular bank account for emergencies, or do you just use the Money Network card for everything? I'm trying to figure out the best way to manage my finances with this new setup. Also, has anyone had issues using the card for online purchases or subscription payments? Want to make sure I can still pay my streaming services and phone bill without problems. Thanks again everyone - this community is amazing for sharing real experiences instead of just the official confusing websites!

Welcome to the Money Network card club! You definitely made the right choice - those bank holds are the worst. I keep about $100-200 in my regular bank account just for peace of mind, but I use the Money Network card for almost everything now. It works perfectly for online purchases and subscriptions - I pay Netflix, Spotify, my phone bill, everything through it with no issues. The only thing I transfer to my bank is rent since my landlord prefers checks. The card acts just like any other debit card for online stuff, so you shouldn't have any problems. And yeah, this community has been a lifesaver for figuring out the real deal vs the confusing official info!

Just wanted to jump in and say THANK YOU to everyone who shared their experiences here! I'm in almost the exact same situation - just switched from direct deposit because of those annoying bank holds. Reading through all these real-world tips has been so much more helpful than anything on the official PA UC website. I'm especially grateful for the heads up about ATM fees, the grocery store cash back trick, and setting up alerts through both the app and website. Also going to start that spreadsheet tracking idea someone mentioned - seems like the only way to find any patterns in this chaos. One quick question - for those who've been doing this a while, have you noticed if the deposit timing gets MORE consistent over time, or does it pretty much stay random? Just wondering if the system eventually "learns" your pattern or if I should expect this variability forever. Thanks again everyone - this thread should be pinned for anyone making the switch!

Great to see you got your payment! I'm dealing with a similar situation right now - been waiting 5 weeks for my examiner call after my employer appeal. Seeing success stories like yours gives me hope. Quick question though - when the examiner called you, did they resolve everything on that same call or did you have to wait for additional processing after speaking with them? Just trying to get an idea of the timeline once I finally get my call.

Hey! The examiner was able to resolve everything during that one call, which took about 15 minutes. She said my employer never responded to their requests for information, so she ruled in my favor based on my documentation. The payment showed up in my portal literally the next day after our call. Hang in there - 5 weeks is rough but once you get that call things should move quickly! Make sure you have all your paperwork ready when they do call.

So glad everything worked out for you! I've been dealing with PA UC for months and the direct deposit timing has been pretty consistent for me - usually shows up the next business day after "payment issued" appears in the portal. I use TD Bank and it almost always hits my account around 2-3 AM the following day. The key thing I learned is to look at the "issued" date, not just the "payment date" like someone mentioned above. Once you see that issued status, you're golden. Hope this helps calm your nerves a bit while you wait!

I'm also new to PA UC and this thread has been incredibly helpful! I have PNC as well and was wondering about their timing. Based on everyone's experiences here, it sounds like PNC is pretty consistent with that 1-3pm window. I just filed my first weekly claim on Sunday and my status changed to "paid" this morning, so I'm hoping to see my first deposit later today. The anxiety is definitely real when you're new to this process! Thanks to everyone for sharing such detailed timing information - it really helps to know what to expect. I'm definitely going to set up those text alerts that several people mentioned and check out the pending transactions section in the PNC app. It's reassuring to hear that once the status shows "paid," the money is definitely coming!

Welcome to PA UC! You're definitely in good hands with PNC - from everything shared in this thread, they seem to be one of the more reliable banks for consistent timing. Since your status already changed to "paid" this morning, you should definitely see your first deposit this afternoon based on everyone's experiences here. The text alerts are a game changer for reducing that checking anxiety, and definitely explore that pending transactions feature in the PNC app that others mentioned. It's so helpful having all this detailed timing info in one place - makes the whole process feel much less mysterious when you're starting out. Hope your first deposit hits smoothly today!

I'm also new to PA UC and have been following this thread closely! I have US Bank and was curious if anyone has experience with their timing for UC payments? My status just changed to "paid" yesterday evening and I'm hoping to see the deposit today. Reading through everyone's experiences with different banks has been so educational - it's amazing how much the timing varies! PNC seems pretty consistent at 1-3pm, Chase around 10:30am, Wells Fargo later around 3:30-5pm. I'm planning to call US Bank today to ask about their ACH processing schedule like several people suggested. The anxiety is definitely real when you're depending on that money, but it's so reassuring to see how reliable the "paid" status has been for everyone once it shows up in the system. Thanks to everyone for sharing such detailed experiences - this thread should be bookmarked for anyone new to PA UC!

I don't have personal experience with US Bank, but calling them to ask about their ACH schedule is definitely the right move! Based on all the timing patterns shared here, it seems like each bank really does have their own processing window. Since your status changed to "paid" yesterday evening, you should definitely see it today based on everyone's experiences. It's been so helpful seeing all these different bank timelines in one place - really takes the mystery out of the process when you know what to expect. Hope your deposit comes through smoothly today and you can add US Bank's timing to this helpful collection of data points!

That's great news that you got through and they're processing your determination today! Keep us updated on how it goes. For anyone else dealing with this issue, I've found the best times to call PA UC are right at 8am when they open or around 1-2pm when call volume sometimes drops. The key is persistence and specifically asking them to make a determination since the employer response period has expired. Don't just accept "we're waiting for employer response" - push them to move forward with what they have.

This is really helpful advice! I'm dealing with a similar situation where my employer hasn't responded to UC's fact-finding sheet for almost 3 weeks now. I've been hesitant to keep calling because I didn't want to seem pushy, but it sounds like being persistent is actually necessary to get things moving. Going to try calling at 8am sharp tomorrow and specifically ask them to make a determination since the response period has passed. Thanks for sharing those optimal call times too!

I'm in almost the exact same boat - filed in February after getting laid off from my manufacturing job and have been stuck with an "open issue" for over a month now. My employer hasn't responded to the fact-finding questionnaire either. Reading through these comments gives me hope that I can still get approved even without their response. Going to try the advice about calling right at 8am and specifically asking them to make a determination since the employer response period has expired. It's so frustrating being without income for this long when it was clearly a layoff situation through no fault of my own. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences - it helps to know I'm not alone in dealing with this broken system!

You're definitely not alone in this! I just went through something similar and it's so stressful when you're waiting for money you're entitled to. Since yours was also a clear layoff situation, you should have a good chance of approval once they actually process it. The key really is being persistent with the calls and using that specific language about the employer response period expiring. Don't let them just say "we're still waiting" - make them take action! Hope you get through soon and get your back payments. Keep us posted on how it goes!

UPDATE: Payment hit my card this morning (Thursday)! Thanks everyone for the help. I'm definitely going to switch to direct deposit to my bank account instead of using this card from now on.

Glad you got your payment sorted out! For anyone else dealing with this, I've found that setting up text alerts through your bank can really help with timing. Most banks will send you a notification as soon as a deposit hits, so you don't have to keep checking your balance obsessively. Also, if you're switching to direct deposit like Oliver mentioned, make sure to do it well before your next claim period - sometimes it takes a pay cycle or two to fully switch over from the Money Network card.

Great tip about the text alerts! I wish I had known about that sooner. Quick question - when you switch from the Money Network card to direct deposit, do you need to do anything special to close the card account or does it just automatically become inactive once the direct deposit kicks in?
