If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

I almost forgot to mention - if you're really concerned about timing, you can actually call Money Network directly (888-233-5916) to see if a card has been ordered for you. They can tell you the status and when it was requested by PA UC. Sometimes there's a lag between when your payments are processed and when the card department is notified to send a new card.

Thank you! I'll give them a call tomorrow morning and see what they say. Would definitely put my mind at ease to know it's actually being processed.

my cusin had hearing last month and won becuz he brought alot of evidence, make sure u have everythng printed not just on ur phone

0 coins

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely print everything out. Did your cousin have to mail anything to the referee before the hearing or just bring it all on the day?

To answer your question about submitting evidence beforehand - you absolutely can and should. There should be instructions on your hearing notice for how to submit evidence in advance. This gives the referee time to review it before the hearing. But ALSO bring copies to the hearing as backup. And regarding the CareerLink documentation - when I visited in person, they gave me a printout with my registration confirmation number and date. They also helped me complete the required work search activities that were part of my back-weeks. Ask them to note in your file that you had a technical issue with your SSN that prevented earlier registration. One last tip - after my hearing, it took about 14 days to get the decision. If you win, they'll release all your back payments at once, which was a huge relief. Stay positive and be super prepared!

This has been incredibly helpful! I feel so much more prepared now. I'm heading to CareerLink tomorrow morning and will start organizing all my evidence tonight. Fingers crossed the hearing goes well - I'll update after January 28th!

after you try the state rep thing if that don't work try Claimyr that someone mentioned. my buddy used it last month and got through in like 20 minutes after trying to call for weeks. cost some money but he said it was worth it when ur desperate

Update: Called my state rep this morning and spoke with someone who handles UC issues. They took all my info and said they'll contact UC on my behalf. They said to give them about a week to get a response. Fingers crossed something happens! If not, I'll try that Claimyr service as a backup plan. Thanks everyone for the advice - will let you know what happens.

wait are these hearings in person or on phone now? i got something saying mine might be on zoom but im not sure cuz the letter was confusing

0 coins

Since COVID, most PA UC appeal hearings are conducted by phone or video conference (usually Teams or Zoom). Your hearing notice should specify which method will be used for your particular case. If you're not tech-savvy, you can request a phone hearing instead of video, but you need to do that well in advance by contacting the UC Appeals office.

Update: I just reviewed my determination letter more carefully, and it specifically says I was denied because I "demonstrated careless disregard for employer standards through repeated failures despite warnings." But here's the thing - I only received ONE written warning about productivity, and that was right after they changed the system! Does this help my case? It seems like they're claiming there were multiple warnings when there wasn't.

This is EXACTLY the kind of discrepancy you want to highlight in your appeal! If the determination states "repeated warnings" but you only received one, that's a factual error you can directly challenge. Bring documentation showing the single warning and its timing relative to the system change. This type of concrete contradiction in the employer's claims can be very effective in appeals. Make sure to state this clearly and calmly during the hearing.

u have to go to the career link office in person. thats the only thing that worked for me when this happened. they can see stuff in the system regular phone people cant

Just to follow up - were you able to get this resolved? For anyone else reading this thread later, there's now an official procedure for this issue. You need to: 1. Submit form UC-1699A "Data Correction Request" (available online) 2. Specifically mention "recurring data integration error" in the comments 3. Include screenshots or detailed descriptions of the incorrect entries 4. Request a "claim profile review" PA UC has acknowledged this is happening to some claimants due to a data migration issue when they updated their systems. The correction can take 2-3 weeks to fully process, but they should be able to release any held payments once they verify the issue.

Thank you so much for following up! I did finally get it resolved after taking everyone's advice here. What worked was a combination of things: 1) I got through to a supervisor who submitted an IT ticket, 2) My former employer's HR also called to confirm the information was incorrect, and 3) I submitted that form you mentioned. My backpayments were finally released yesterday after 5 weeks of fighting with the system. For anyone else with this problem - be persistent and use all the advice in this thread! And thanks everyone for your help!
