If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Glad to hear the check finally arrived! I went through a similar situation a few months ago where my payments were stuck in review for ages. One tip for those pending weeks - if you haven't already, try calling the UC service center first thing in the morning around 8am. I had better luck getting through early before the lines get swamped. Also, make sure you keep filing your weekly certifications even for those pending weeks, otherwise they might deny them for "failure to claim." The whole system is definitely a mess but at least you got some money coming in now!

Thanks for the tip about calling at 8am! I never thought about timing mattering that much. We've definitely been keeping up with the weekly certifications - learned that lesson from reading horror stories on here about people losing weeks because they stopped filing. It's crazy how many little rules and gotchas there are with this system. At least now we know the checks do eventually come, even if it takes forever!

So glad to hear your check finally came through! I'm currently dealing with a similar situation - my payments have been showing as "in progress" for over 2 weeks now with no check received yet. Did you ever figure out what the exact amount was compared to what you were expecting? I'm trying to understand if the "partial check" designation means they're holding back more than just the standard tax withholding. Also wondering if setting up direct deposit now would affect those pending weeks you mentioned or if they'd still come as paper checks since they're from the earlier time period.

Congratulations on winning your appeal! That's a huge relief. I went through something similar last year - the waiting period after winning can be nerve-wracking, but here's what I learned: Most people see their accounts update within 7-14 days, and then payments follow shortly after. The key things to remember are: 1) Keep filing your weekly claims even if you can't see updates yet, 2) Save/print that appeal decision letter immediately, and 3) Double-check that your payment method is set up correctly since you haven't received payments before. If you don't see movement after 2 weeks, that's when I'd start making calls. The system usually works, but it's slow. Hang in there - your backpay is coming!

Just wanted to add my experience to help ease your mind! I won my appeal about 6 weeks ago for the same availability issue. My timeline was: appeal decision on a Wednesday, account updated the following Tuesday (6 business days), and money hit my card that Friday. The backpay covered all 8 weeks I had been filing claims during the appeal process. One tip that helped me - I took screenshots of my account showing the pending weeks before the update, just in case there were any discrepancies later. The whole process was actually smoother than I expected after reading horror stories online. Stay positive and keep filing those weekly claims!

This is really encouraging to hear! Your timeline gives me hope that mine will process smoothly too. Taking screenshots is a smart idea - I'll do that today before anything changes. It's reassuring to know that the backpay covered all your pending weeks. I've been filing consistently during my appeal, so hopefully everything will line up correctly when it processes. Thanks for sharing your positive experience!

Same here! My card got declined at the grocery store this afternoon and I was so confused because I just got my payment yesterday. Really relieved to hear it's a system-wide issue and not something wrong with my specific account. Has anyone heard any timeline on when they expect to have this fixed? I have bills due this week and really need access to my funds.

I'm in the exact same boat! My card worked fine yesterday morning but started getting declined everywhere this afternoon. I was freaking out thinking there was a fraud hold on my account or something. The system outage explanation makes so much more sense. I tried calling the Money Network number but couldn't get through - the phone lines are probably swamped with people having the same issue. Hopefully they get this sorted out quickly since so many of us depend on these cards for essential expenses. At least we can still check our balances online to confirm our payments went through!

Just wanted to chime in as someone who went through this exact same thing a few months ago. My card suddenly stopped working on a Tuesday and I was panicking because I had no other way to access my UC funds. Turns out it was a security hold that got triggered when I used my card at a new location. The key thing that worked for me was being persistent with calling Money Network. I know everyone says the wait times are terrible, but I found that calling right when they open at 7am gave me the best chance of getting through. It still took about 45 minutes on hold, but I did eventually reach a real person who was able to remove the hold immediately after verifying my identity. For anyone dealing with this right now - your money is still safe! The card issue doesn't affect your actual UC payments or account balance. And if you keep having problems, definitely consider switching to direct deposit like others mentioned. I made the switch after my card drama and haven't had any issues since.

Congrats Vincent on finally getting through! Your success story gives me hope. I've been stuck at 11 weeks now with the same "processing" message. Filed in late January with UC income of about $8,200. Going to try the 8:30am calling strategy tomorrow morning. Did the agent give you any sense of how backed up they are right now? Also wondering if anyone knows - once they approve the refund, how long does it typically take for the direct deposit to hit your account?

Good luck with the 8:30am call tomorrow Emily! When I talked to the agent, she mentioned they're processing about 3-4 weeks behind normal due to the volume of UC verification reviews. She said they've added more staff but the backlog is still pretty significant. For the direct deposit timing - mine showed "Refund Approved" on Thursday and the payment date was listed as the following Tuesday, so about 5 business days. Hopefully you'll have similar luck getting through to someone!

I'm in the exact same boat! Filed in mid-January with UC income of about $5,800 and still stuck at "processing" after 12 weeks. This thread has been incredibly helpful - I had no idea the UC income was causing these delays. I've been calling randomly throughout the day but now I'll try the 8:30am strategy. It's so frustrating that they don't just tell you upfront that returns with unemployment benefits take longer to process. The lack of transparency is worse than the actual wait time! Thanks to everyone sharing their experiences - at least now I know I'm not alone in this nightmare.

You're definitely not alone Ethan! I just joined this community after finding this thread through a Google search - been dealing with the exact same issue. Filed early February with about $4,200 in UC income and it's been 9 weeks of just "processing" with zero updates. Reading everyone's experiences here has been both reassuring and infuriating - reassuring that it's not just me, but infuriating that PA doesn't communicate this delay upfront. I'm going to try the 8:30am calling strategy too. Has anyone had success getting through later in the day or is early morning really the only way? Also wondering if there's a specific phone number that works better than others?

One other option to consider: PA UC has regional career centers where you can sometimes get in-person help with claims. You can find your nearest one here: https://www.pacareerlink.pa.gov/jponline/. Call ahead to confirm they can help with UC issues and what documentation to bring. In-person is sometimes faster than phone or email.

This is really helpful info! There's actually a career center not too far from me. I'll call them tomorrow to see if they can help with claim issues. Thank you!

I feel your pain - the PA UC system is absolutely brutal right now. I went through the same nightmare 2 months ago. Here's what finally worked for me: I combined several approaches at once. First, I contacted my state rep (like others mentioned) AND also tried calling the Philadelphia UC service center directly at 215-560-7885 instead of the main number - sometimes different offices have shorter wait times. I also kept trying the online messaging system every few days with slightly different wording. What really pushed it over the edge was when I started documenting everything - dates I called, times I waited, screenshot of error messages - and mentioned in my state rep contact that I was keeping records for potential legal action. Suddenly things started moving. Don't give up, but definitely try multiple channels simultaneously rather than just one approach.

This is exactly the kind of comprehensive strategy I needed to hear! I love the idea of documenting everything and mentioning potential legal action - that probably got their attention real quick. I'm going to try that Philadelphia number you mentioned tomorrow morning. Did you have to provide any special documentation when you contacted your state rep, or just the basic claim info? Also, how long did it take once things started moving to actually get your benefits released? Thanks for sharing what worked - gives me hope that I can get this resolved!

@Ella Cofer This is such solid advice! I m'definitely going to try that Philadelphia number - I had no idea there were different regional offices with potentially shorter wait times. Quick question: when you were documenting everything, did you include that documentation when you initially contacted your state rep, or did you mention it separately? I m'thinking of starting a spreadsheet with all my call attempts, wait times, and any error messages I get. Also wondering if you think it s'worth trying to contact multiple state reps if my district rep doesn t'respond quickly? I m'in a pretty populated area so there might be neighboring districts I could reach out to as backup. Really appreciate you sharing what worked - gives me a concrete action plan instead of just randomly calling and hoping for the best!
