Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. yall need to stop using these tax prep services that take fees out of your refund. EVERY YEAR ppl have issues with this. Just pay the fee upfront or use one of the free options, then direct deposit to your own bank account. Simple.
FreeTaxUSA is literally $0 for federal and like $15 for state. If you can't afford $15 upfront maybe you got bigger problems than a delayed refund js

The way the IRS system works is so messed up. I wish they would just simplify everything and make it transparent. So many people depend on their refunds and the process is deliberately obtuse.

According to the H&R Block subreddit, there's been a delay in Emerald Card processing today specific to deposits that were supposed to arrive 3/14. Apparently it's a known issue they're working on. Should be resolved by end of day.
That's good to know! Where did you see this info? I couldn't find anything official from them.

im literally in the EXACT same boat. my emerald card was supposed to have my money today but nothing yet. im checking it every 5 minutes and driving myself crazy. this is the last time im using this stupid card, direct deposit next year for sure

I was in this exact situation 2 months ago. They told me a letter was mailed June 5, and I didn't get it until June 24! When I called to complain they just said "mail delivery is beyond our control" and wouldn't extend my response deadline. Such BS.

My husband and I file married joint and both got identical letters about our refund adjustment. His arrived 4 days before mine even though they were supposedly mailed same day! Mail system makes no sense.

The IRS and TurboTax might as well be on different planets when it comes to communication š When I couldn't get a straight answer about my refund, I finally reached an IRS agent through the claimyr.com service and they confirmed everything was fine and my refund was about to be sent. Went from panicking to relaxed in one phone call. Best decision I made during tax season.

If your transcript has a DDD, your money is coming. period. TurboTax status updates are about as reliable as a weather forecast from 3 weeks ago. Just wait until your DDD and check your bank account. TT probably won't send an email until after you already have your money š¹

Download your TurboTax PDF and look at the very last pages. There should be a section called "Bank Fee Disclosure" or something similar that shows exactly what they charged you. Be warned: you're gonna be mad when you see it all itemized š¤”

Somethings not adding up... Even with ALL the TurboTax fees, $800 seems excessive. I'd demand an itemized breakdown from them. Make them explain every penny of that difference.

ā¢You'd be surprised. Deluxe package ($120) + state filing ($50) + refund transfer fee ($40) + audit protection ($60) + refund advance application ($50) + any add-on services can easily hit $400-500. Then if they filed for multiple states or had other premium features, $800 isn't impossible.
