have u tried going to the office in person? sometimes face-to-face works better
Most offices are still closed or appointment-only due to covid. Check their website first!
Oh great, here come the tinfoil hats π
Anyone else feel like the whole system is designed to make us give up? It's like they're hoping we'll just go away if they ignore us long enough.
I heard they're super backed up because of all the fraud cases they're dealing with. Might be why it's taking so long for legit claims to get processed.
What time do they open?
Anyone else feel like we need a complete overhaul of the unemployment system? This is ridiculous in 2023 π

I'm telling you, the real solution is to camp outside their office. Bring a tent, some snacks, and don't leave until they help you. Who's with me? βΊοΈποΈ

Guys, I just got through after trying for weeks! Here's what worked for me: 1. Call at 2:55 PM 2. Press 1 for English 3. Then 1 for claim questions 4. Then 2 for existing claims 5. Then 4 for general questions I was on hold for about an hour, but I finally spoke to someone. Hope this helps!

β’Wait, 2:55 PM? Doesn't the office close at 3? How does that work?

β’They stop taking new calls at 3, but if you're already in the queue they'll still help you. That's why calling right before closing sometimes works better!
