Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

There is! Go to the EDD website and look for the 'Customer Account' section. You can check your claim status there.

Has anyone tried faxing their documents? I know it sounds old school, but I've heard it can be faster than mail or email sometimes.
Omg yes! Faxing worked for me when nothing else did. It's like they're stuck in the 90s or something š¤£

Guys, I think there might be a glitch in their system. I've heard from multiple people that claims filed in the last month are getting stuck. Might be worth mentioning if you get through to someone.

Have you checked their website? Sometimes they have forms for extension requests that you can submit online. Might be worth a shot!

Have you checked if there were any changes to the PFL program recently? Sometimes they update rules and it messes up ongoing claims.
