If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Hey everyone! Just stumbled across this thread while desperately searching for E324 solutions and I'm so relieved to find I'm not alone in this nightmare! I've been fighting this error for about 4 days now and was starting to lose my mind. 😅 I've tried all the basic troubleshooting - different browsers, clearing cache, incognito mode during normal hours - but nothing has worked. Reading through all your experiences though, especially the success stories like @GalacticGladiator, is giving me so much hope! The consistent pattern I'm seeing with the 2-3 AM approach + Chrome incognito + disabled extensions seems like my best shot. @Jade O'Malley your troubleshooting checklist is absolutely brilliant - I'm printing that out as my battle plan! And @NebulaNomad I'm totally on board with the Department of Consumer Affairs complaint idea. We really need to coordinate something because this affects way too many people. It's honestly insane that we have to become tech wizards and night shift workers just to apply for benefits we're entitled to, but I'm so grateful for this community sharing workarounds and keeping each other sane. Planning my midnight mission for tonight around 2:30 AM - wish me luck! Will definitely report back with results. Thanks everyone for the solidarity and solutions! 🙏✨

Hey @Amina Sy! Welcome to our E324 warriors club! 👋 I'm also pretty new here but this community has been such a lifesaver. Four days of battling this error is absolutely maddening, but you're definitely not alone - we're all fighting the same broken system together! The midnight approach really does seem to be the most reliable workaround based on all the success stories. I'm actually planning to try it myself tonight too around 2:30 AM - maybe we can be part of the late-night crew together! 🌙 Your plan to print out @Jade O'Malley's checklist is so smart, and I totally agree about coordinating those Department of Consumer Affairs complaints. It's crazy that we've all become "tech wizards and night shift workers" just to access basic benefits, but hey, if that's what it takes! Best of luck on your midnight mission tonight - we're all rooting for you! Keep us posted on how it goes! 💪✨

Just wanted to jump in here as someone who's also been dealing with the E324 error - found this thread while searching for solutions and it's been incredibly helpful! I've been stuck with this error for about a week now and it's been so frustrating. I've tried all the usual troubleshooting steps during normal hours with no success, but reading through everyone's experiences here is really giving me hope. The pattern I'm seeing with the late-night approach around 2-3 AM combined with Chrome incognito mode and disabled extensions seems to be the most consistent workaround. @GalacticGladiator congrats on getting through - your detailed breakdown of what worked is exactly what I needed to see! And @Jade O'Malley that troubleshooting list is pure gold, definitely bookmarking that. I'm planning to try the midnight mission approach tonight around 2:30 AM. It's honestly ridiculous that we have to become night shift tech warriors just to apply for basic benefits, but if that's what it takes to beat this broken system, I'm all in! Also really support the Department of Consumer Affairs complaint idea that @NebulaNomad suggested. Even if we find individual workarounds, this systemic issue affects too many people and needs official attention. Thanks to everyone for sharing experiences and solutions - this community solidarity is keeping me sane through this mess! Will definitely report back with results. Fingers crossed! 🤞

Update: My doctor's office submitted the extension paperwork yesterday! They said they included detailed notes about why I can't return to construction work yet. Now I'm just waiting to see if/when it gets approved. Thanks everyone for your help - I would have been completely lost without your advice!

0 coins

That's great news! Keep checking your SDI Online account for updates - you should see the status change once EDD processes the extension. The detailed notes from your doctor will definitely help since construction work has specific physical requirements. Fingers crossed it gets approved quickly so you don't have any gap in benefits!

Great to hear you got the paperwork submitted! Just a heads up - you might want to call EDD's SDI customer service line in about a week if you don't see any updates in your online account. Sometimes extension requests get stuck in the system and a phone call can help move things along. I know the wait times are brutal, but it's worth it to avoid any potential gaps in your benefits. Also, make sure you continue doing your bi-weekly certifications even while the extension is pending - you don't want to miss any certification periods. Keep us posted on how it goes!

Thanks for the tip about calling EDD if nothing updates! I definitely don't want to risk any gaps. Quick question - do you know if there's a specific time of day that's better for getting through to their customer service? I've heard the wait times can be several hours. Also, should I keep doing my certifications right up until my current claim expires on 8/18, or do I need to wait for the extension to be approved first?

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this stressful situation! Everyone here has given you excellent advice about filing for SDI immediately, which is absolutely the right move. I wanted to add one practical tip that helped me when I filed my own SDI claim - when you're filling out the online application, there's usually a section where you can provide additional context or explanations. Use that space to briefly mention the timeline of events (that you submitted your medical leave request the same day you were terminated) just to create a clear record, but keep the focus on your medical condition and inability to work. Also, I'd recommend setting up online access to your EDD account right away if you haven't already. This will let you track the status of your claim and respond quickly if they need any additional documentation. The online portal is much more reliable than trying to get through by phone. Your situation sounds incredibly frustrating, but you're handling it exactly right by prioritizing your health and getting the benefits you've earned. The legal aspects others have mentioned definitely sound worth pursuing, but getting your SDI secured first is the smart approach. Wishing you a smooth recovery and hoping your surgery goes well!

This is really practical advice about using the additional context section in the application! I hadn't thought about briefly mentioning the timeline there to create an official record while keeping the main focus on my medical condition. That seems like a smart way to document the suspicious timing without making it the centerpiece of my disability claim. I'm also going to set up the online EDD account access right away like you suggested - being able to track my claim status will definitely help reduce my anxiety about the process. Thank you for the well wishes about my surgery too. It's scheduled for next month and I'm nervous, but knowing I'll have some income during recovery makes it much less stressful. Everyone in this thread has been incredibly helpful - I went from completely panicked to having a clear plan of action. Filing my SDI application now!

I'm really glad to see you've gotten such comprehensive and helpful advice from this community! As someone who works in benefits administration, I can confirm that everyone steering you toward SDI is absolutely correct. Your situation is a textbook case for disability benefits - you have medical certification that predates your termination, which creates a clear, uncontestable timeline. One additional thing I'd mention that I haven't seen covered yet: make sure when you file your SDI claim that you indicate the correct disability start date. This should be the date your doctor first determined you were unable to work (likely when they completed your DE 2501 form), not the date you were terminated. This distinction is important for both your benefit calculation and for maintaining the medical integrity of your claim. Also, don't be surprised if the online application asks about "last day worked" versus "disability start date" - these can be different dates in situations like yours, and that's completely normal and expected. You're doing everything right by prioritizing your health and getting your benefits secured first. The potential legal case is definitely worth exploring given the suspicious timing, but having your income protected during recovery should be your immediate focus. Best of luck with your surgery and recovery!

This thread has been absolutely incredible to read through! I'm dealing with my own SDI claim that's been pending for about 4 weeks now after a work-related stress leave, and I was starting to feel completely hopeless about ever getting through to someone. Seeing Jamal's success story and all the detailed strategies everyone has shared has given me the roadmap I desperately needed. I had no idea about the 1-7-1-4 menu sequence or that calling at exactly 8:01am on Wednesday/Thursday could make such a difference. I've been calling at random times and always selecting "claim questions" which apparently routes you to the wrong place! The tip about saying "payment status" instead is genius. I'm going to try the proven approach tomorrow morning (it's Tuesday, so perfect timing for Wednesday) and will have all my documentation ready - claim number, SSN, doctor info, everything organized. The financial anxiety while waiting for benefits is crushing, especially when you're already dealing with mental health challenges. But this community has shown me that there's real hope and these delays are usually fixable once you reach the right person. Thank you all for being so generous with sharing what actually works - I'll definitely come back to update everyone on my results!

Emma, welcome to the community and thank you for sharing your situation! I'm so sorry you're dealing with the stress of waiting for your claim while also managing mental health challenges - that's such a difficult combination. Four weeks is definitely long enough to warrant using the proven strategies everyone has documented here. This thread really has become an incredible resource, and it's heartwarming to see how people like Jamal come back to share their success stories and help others navigate this confusing system. Wednesday is perfect timing for the 8:01am strategy! Make sure you're in a quiet place where you can wait on hold for potentially 45+ minutes, and having all your documentation organized beforehand will help you move quickly once connected. Work-related stress claims sometimes need additional verification, so when you do get through, be prepared to explain the circumstances clearly and ask if they need any additional documentation from your healthcare provider. The fact that you've already identified the key strategies (1-7-1-4 sequence, "payment status" phrasing, Wednesday timing) shows you're well-prepared for success. We're all rooting for you to get through tomorrow and join the success stories! Please come back and update us - your experience could be the encouragement someone else needs.

Emma, I just wanted to add some encouragement as someone who was in a very similar situation! I dealt with a stress-related leave claim that took forever to process, and the waiting period while already struggling with mental health was absolutely brutal. The strategies in this thread really do work - I finally got through last month using the Wednesday 8:01am approach with the 1-7-1-4 sequence. One thing that helped me was writing down exactly what I wanted to ask before calling, since the stress can make it hard to think clearly when you finally get someone on the line. Also, stress leave claims sometimes get flagged for additional review to verify the medical necessity, so don't be discouraged if they ask for more documentation from your healthcare provider. The important thing is that you'll finally have someone who can tell you exactly what's needed to move your claim forward. You've got this, and we're all here supporting you! Looking forward to celebrating your success story soon.

I just want to echo everyone's sentiment about how amazing this thread has been! I'm new to the community and currently dealing with my own SDI claim that's been pending for about 2 weeks after a medical procedure. Reading through all these detailed strategies has been so reassuring - I had no idea there were specific menu sequences and timing strategies that could actually work. The 8:01am Wednesday/Thursday approach with the 1-7-1-4 sequence and saying "payment status" instead of "claim questions" seems to be the golden combination based on everyone's success stories. What really stands out to me is how supportive this community is - people taking the time to come back and share what worked, offering encouragement, and providing specific actionable advice rather than just generic "keep trying" responses. Jamal's update was especially inspiring and gives me hope that most of these delays really are just technical issues that can be resolved once you reach the right person. I'm planning to try the proven strategy this Thursday morning and will definitely report back with my results. Thank you all for creating such a valuable resource for people navigating this frustrating system!

This is such a common issue unfortunately! I went through the exact same thing about 6 months ago. Here's what finally worked for me: I called first thing Monday morning at exactly 8:00 AM and got through after about 45 minutes on hold. The rep told me my payments had been flagged for a routine review but no one had bothered to actually process it. She cleared it up right there and I got my back payments within a week. Also, definitely check if you have any outstanding forms to submit - sometimes they stop payments if they're waiting for updated medical documentation from your doctor. Don't give up! The system is frustrating but there are real people who can help once you get through to them.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Emma! It's really helpful to hear from someone who actually got through this. The Monday 8 AM tip is gold - I'll definitely try that. It's so ridiculous that your payments were just sitting there waiting for someone to click a button basically. Makes me wonder how many people are stuck in the same limbo. I'll also double-check with my doctor about any missing forms. Did they send you any notification about the review, or did it just happen without warning? Trying to figure out if I should expect this kind of thing in the future.

I'm going through something similar right now - my payments stopped about 2 weeks ago and I'm getting the runaround every time I try to call. Reading through everyone's experiences here is both comforting and terrifying! I'm definitely going to try Emma's Monday 8 AM strategy and double-check my bank info like Gael suggested. Has anyone had luck with the state disability insurance office's local field offices? I'm wondering if showing up in person might be more effective than the phone maze. Also, for those who got their payments restored, how long did it take for the back payments to come through once the issue was resolved? Trying to plan my budget around this mess. Thanks everyone for sharing your stories - at least we're not suffering alone!
