I tried using that Claimyr service someone mentioned and it actually worked great. Got connected to Washington ESD in about 2 hours and was able to get my exact benefit calculation explained. Worth it if you're having trouble getting through on your own.
Bottom line - if you made $52K annually you're probably looking at somewhere between $600-700 weekly benefit. The exact amount depends on how your wages were distributed but that's a reasonable estimate based on the 2024 rates.
Last thing - don't be discouraged if your first payment takes a few weeks. Between processing time, the waiting week, and potential adjudication, it's normal for there to be a delay before you see money.
Bottom line - at $1K/week you're looking at roughly $400-450 per week in unemployment benefits, maybe up to $500 depending on your exact wage history. You'll qualify easily with 2 years of steady work. Just be prepared for bureaucracy and potential delays, but most people do get their benefits eventually.
One last tip - if you do file and have any issues, there's also that Claimyr service people mentioned. I used them when my weekly claims weren't processing right and they got me through to someone who fixed it same day. Beats the alternative of waiting weeks for a callback that might never come.
This thread is really helpful. I'm in a similar situation and was worried about filing. Sounds like it's worth a shot regardless of the circumstances.

I really feel for you dealing with this stress. Unemployment is already hard enough without having to worry about when payments will actually arrive.

One more thing - when you do get through to Washington ESD (whether through Claimyr or regular calling), ask them to put a note in your file about what caused the delay. It might prevent the same issue from happening again.

•That's really smart advice. I'll make sure to ask about that if I end up speaking to someone.

•Yes, having detailed notes in your file can be very helpful for future issues.
