Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

The system can be confusing at first but it gets easier once you understand the process. Just remember - file early, be honest about everything, and keep up with your weekly claims even during the waiting period.

One last thing - make sure you're prepared for the job search requirements. Washington ESD requires you to make at least 3 job search contacts per week and keep a detailed log. Start tracking your job search activities from day one.
Is there a specific format for the job search log, or can I just keep my own records?
You can use their online system or keep your own detailed records. Just make sure you have dates, employer names, contact methods, and job titles for each search activity.

I had success getting my 1099-G by using that Claimyr service too. Honestly wish I'd known about it sooner - would have saved me so much time and frustration trying to reach ESD on my own. The agent was able to email me the form within minutes of getting connected.

Final update for anyone following this thread - the key is to log into your SecureAccess Washington account, go to 'eServices', then 'Unemployment Services', and look for 'Tax Information' or 'Forms and Correspondence'. The 1099-G should be there if it's been issued for your account.

Final thought - if your claim goes beyond 4 weeks without any communication from Washington ESD, that's when you should definitely try to contact them. But for now, 2 weeks is well within normal processing time.
