Been through this process twice now. The wage requirements aren't too bad if you've been working consistently, even part-time. The trickier part is usually the job separation reason - make sure you have a qualifying reason for leaving or being let go.
The Washington ESD website has a tool that can help you estimate if you qualify based on your work history. I used it before filing and it was pretty accurate compared to my actual determination.
The whole process seems overwhelming at first but once you get into the routine of filing weekly claims and doing your job search, it becomes pretty automatic. Just take it one step at a time.
One last tip - if you do need to call Washington ESD for anything, try calling right when they open at 8 AM or during lunch time around noon. Those seem to be the least busy times, though honestly the phone system is always pretty backed up.
Just a heads up that Washington ESD has been dealing with a lot of fraud issues lately so they're being extra careful with new claims. Don't be surprised if they ask for additional verification documents.
I had to use that claimyr thing too when my claim got stuck in some kind of review process. Honestly worth it just to talk to a real person who could explain what was happening with my case.
Been on UI three different times over the past decade. Each time it's been exactly 26 weeks unless there were federal extensions (which there aren't right now). The amount you get per week varies based on your wages, but the duration is standard. Just make sure you don't miss any weekly claims or job search requirements.

One final piece of advice - if you have any questions during the process, don't hesitate to call or use one of those callback services. It's better to get clarification than make a mistake on your application.

•Exactly! I wish I had known about Claimyr earlier in my process. Would have saved me a lot of stress trying to get through on my own.
