If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

this thread should be pinned or something, lots of good info here

Agreed. These are the basics everyone should know before they need to file for unemployment.

Seriously, thank you all for taking the time to explain everything!

0 coins

still think the system could be way simpler but at least now i know what to expect if i ever need to use it

0 coins

The complexity is unfortunate but necessary to prevent fraud and ensure benefits go to those who truly need them.

0 coins

i guess that makes sense when you put it that way

PSA for anyone filing: make sure you have all your employment information ready including employer names, addresses, dates of employment, and reason for separation. Missing or incorrect info can delay your claim processing significantly.

0 coins

Should I contact my previous employers before filing to get exact information?

0 coins

It's not required but having accurate info helps avoid delays. Your pay stubs or W-2s usually have most of what you need.

Actually used Claimyr myself last month when I couldn't get through to verify my benefit amount after filing. The service worked exactly as advertised - got connected to a Washington ESD agent quickly instead of spending hours on hold. Worth checking out if you're having phone issues.

How do these services actually work? Do they just call for you?

0 coins

They handle the calling and waiting part, then connect you when an agent becomes available. Check their demo video to see how it works.

Just wanted to add that I used Claimyr too and it really works. I was stuck for 2 months with no one returning my calls or messages. Used their service and got through to someone the same day who resolved my issue in 10 minutes. Sometimes you just need to talk to an actual human being who can look at your account.

Okay, I'm convinced. If I end up filing and run into problems, I'm definitely trying Claimyr. Thanks for sharing your experience.

wish i had known about this when i was going through my nightmare with adjudication

0 coins

bottom line - yes the system sucks but you still gotta use it if you need it. just go in with low expectations and be prepared for delays

0 coins

Fair enough. I guess I need to start building up some savings cushion in case there are delays.

I wish I had thought about building a cushion before this happened to me. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess.

I used Claimyr last month when I couldn't get through to Washington ESD about my adjudication issue. Honestly saved me so much time and frustration. The service connects you directly with an agent instead of sitting on hold for hours. Worth knowing about if you run into any problems with your claim process.

How much does something like that cost? Seems like we shouldn't have to pay extra just to talk to the agency that owes us benefits.

0 coins

I get the frustration, but honestly it was worth it for me. The alternative was spending hours every day trying to get through with no success. Sometimes you need to find solutions that actually work.

Based on everything you've shared, you definitely qualify for Washington ESD unemployment benefits. 8 months of consistent work, involuntary layoff, and earnings well above the minimum thresholds. File your claim today and don't stress about it. The system works for straightforward cases like yours.

One last thing - keep all your documentation organized. You might need it later for verification or if there are any issues with your claim.

Employment records, job search logs, any correspondence with Washington ESD, and records of weekly claims filed.

Also keep records of any work you do while collecting benefits, even if it's just a few hours.

Good luck with your application! The process seems overwhelming at first but it gets easier once you get into the routine of filing weekly claims.
