If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Remember that you can work part-time while collecting unemployment too, as long as you report your earnings. Might help bridge the gap financially.

How does that affect the benefit amount? Do they reduce it dollar for dollar?

0 coins

No, there's a formula. You can earn up to a certain amount before they start reducing your weekly benefit. Check the Washington ESD website for the exact numbers.

Good luck with your claim! Most people in your situation do get approved, it just takes time and patience with the system.

Thank you! This thread has been really helpful and reassuring.

I used Claimyr last month when I had a similar wage issue and they got me connected to someone who walked me through exactly what needed to happen with my employer. Definitely recommend it if you're stuck in phone hell.

Seems like a lot of people have had success with that service. I think I'm going to try it tomorrow.

0 coins

Good luck! The agent I talked to was really knowledgeable about wage reporting issues specifically.

Final update: I got through to Washington ESD (thanks to everyone who recommended Claimyr) and they confirmed my wages weren't reported. The agent helped me understand what my employer needs to do and gave me a reference number to track the correction. Hopefully this gets resolved soon!

This gives me hope for my own situation. Going to try calling them tomorrow.

Keep us posted on how it goes! This whole process is so confusing but at least there's light at the end of the tunnel.

The 26 weeks goes by differently for everyone. I found work in week 8 so I have weeks left on my claim if I need them later this benefit year. Others struggle to find anything and use every single week. Manufacturing jobs are tough right now.

0 coins

Yeah, manufacturing seems to be hit hard. I'm wondering if I should consider switching industries.

0 coins

might be a good time to explore other options while you have the unemployment cushion

0 coins

Just remember the 26 weeks is the maximum, not guaranteed. If Washington ESD finds any issues with your claim - unreported work, availability questions, job search problems - they can stop your benefits early. Stay compliant with all requirements.

0 coins

Good point. I'll make sure I understand all the requirements clearly.

This is why I always recommend people talk to an actual Washington ESD agent if they have questions. I used Claimyr to get through and got all my questions answered in one call instead of guessing.

I see people asking about Claimyr - I tried it when I was having issues reaching Washington ESD about my pending adjudication. It actually connected me to someone who could check my claim status. Pretty useful when you're stuck and can't get through normally.

0 coins

Did they help resolve your adjudication issue or just give you status updates?

0 coins

They helped me understand what documentation Washington ESD needed from me to complete the review. Probably saved me another week or two of waiting.

0 coins

Bottom line: file your unemployment claim with Washington ESD today. Like, stop reading this thread and go do it right now. Every day you wait is money out of your pocket.

0 coins

This. I wish someone had told me this when I got laid off. Would have saved me a lot of stress and money.

0 coins

The key thing is to apply as soon as you're eligible. You can't get benefits for weeks before you filed your initial claim, so don't wait if you think you qualify.

0 coins

Good point. I should probably start gathering my employment info and file soon.

0 coins

Yeah, and make sure you have your Social Security number, driver's license, and employment history ready when you apply online.

0 coins

If you end up having issues with your claim or need to speak with someone at Washington ESD, that Claimyr service mentioned earlier really does work. I was skeptical at first but it saved me hours of trying to get through on the phone.

0 coins

I'll definitely keep that in mind if I run into problems. Thanks for all the helpful info everyone!

Good luck with your claim! The Washington ESD system can be confusing but once you get approved it's pretty reliable.
