If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Thanks! And yeah, I wish I'd known about this option weeks ago. I probably spent 30+ hours total just calling ESD over and over. It's ridiculous that we have to go to these lengths to get our legitimate benefits.

WHY isn't this information on the ESD website?? They deliberately hide these options because they DON'T WANT TO PAY US. I've been stuck in adjudication for 7 weeks and my car was already repossessed. I'm calling the Governor's office TOMORROW MORNING!!!

I understand your frustration, but just to set expectations: while contacting the Governor's office can help expedite your claim, it's not an instant fix for everyone. The effectiveness often depends on how long you've been waiting, the complexity of your claim issue, and current ESD workload. It's definitely worth trying, but also continue pursuing other options simultaneously. If you're facing severe financial hardship, also consider contacting your local WorkSource office as they sometimes have emergency assistance programs while your unemployment claim is processing.

Something I forgot to mention earlier - if your appeal is successful, make sure to check your payment history once payments resume. Sometimes ESD misses paying certain weeks or calculates the wrong benefit amount for some weeks. I had to call them to fix two weeks they somehow skipped even though I had filed claims for them. Also, interest does NOT accrue on back payments owed to you, in case you were wondering.

omg yes check EVERYTHING when they finally pay you!!! they owed me for 6 weeks but only paid 4 at first. had to call and argue with them to get the other 2 weeks. so annoying!!

Thanks everyone for the helpful info. I'll definitely keep filing my weekly claims, and I'll plan to contact ESD about 10 business days after the hearing if I don't see any movement. I've been documenting everything carefully, so hopefully that helps if there are any issues. Still worried about making January rent, but at least I have a better idea of the timeline now. I'm going to look into those emergency rental assistance programs just as a backup plan.

That's a good plan. Just make sure to take detailed notes during your hearing - especially about which specific issues the judge is deciding on and what their ruling is for each one. This will help tremendously if you need to call ESD later to check on implementation status. Good luck with your hearing!

I used Claimyr last week when I was in a similar situation (not disqualified but stuck in adjudication forever) and got through to ESD in about 15 minutes. The agent was able to see that there was a flag on my account that needed to be removed. Much better than spending days trying to call them directly.

It worked for me! They connect you through their system somehow. I was skeptical too but was desperate after trying to get through for two weeks.

UPDATE: I managed to get through to ESD today (after trying Claimyr - totally worth it). The agent confirmed my employer incorrectly reported that I quit. She put notes on my account and advised me to continue with my appeal. She said the appeal should be successful since I have documentation, but it will still take several weeks to process. For anyone facing similar issues - KEEP FILING YOUR WEEKLY CLAIMS even while disqualified! The agent emphasized this multiple times. Also, check your correspondence tab regularly for any letters requiring action. Thanks everyone for your help and advice. I'll update when my appeal is resolved.

Great update! Yes, continuing to file weekly claims is absolutely crucial. I'm glad you got some clarity on the situation. Make sure you're prepared for your appeal hearing - have all your documents organized and be ready to clearly explain the layoff situation. Good luck!

also btw they ask if ur job is permanent when u file each week so make sure u mark YES since u got hired full time even if its not 40 hrs. my friend marked NO cuz she was on probation period and got flagged for review!!

One more important thing - if your hours increase to 40+ per week or your pay increases, make sure you still report that for your weekly claims. Technically, your claim stays open for a year from when you first applied, but once you have those 4 consecutive weeks over your WBA, it goes inactive. You can always reactivate it within that year if your hours get cut or something changes with your job.

That's good to know! I'm hoping my hours will increase over time, but it's reassuring that I could reactivate if needed. I'll keep filing for at least 4 weeks.

For anyone else experiencing this situation, here's what's happening: When ESD approves an overpayment waiver, two things occur: 1. The remaining balance of your overpayment is forgiven (reduced to zero) 2. Any money you already paid toward that overpayment is refunded to you The refund typically processes through ESD's payment system before the determination letter is generated by their notification system. This creates a situation where claimants often receive money before they receive an explanation. If you can't access your online account, it's likely because your claim status has changed, which sometimes triggers a security protocol requiring re-verification. You can request a new access code by mail through the SAW (Secure Access Washington) system. To confirm your waiver status without waiting for the letter, call ESD at 800-318-6022. Current wait times are extremely long (1-3 hours), so call early in the morning right when they open at 8:00 AM.

I forgot to mention - check your spam/junk mail folder! My determination letter got caught in my email spam filter. Also, after I finally got through to ESD, my online account started working again about 48 hours later. Apparently they have to manually reset something after a waiver approval.

Just checked my spam folder - nothing there yet. I'll give it a few more days before really panicking. At least now I understand what's probably happening. Thanks everyone for your help!
