i forgot to say my cousin said if u mention hardship like ur about to miss rent or whatever sometimes theyll put u in the urgent pile. worth a shot
UPDATE: Got through to ESD this morning using that Claimyr service (seriously took like 25 mins instead of endless redials). The agent confirmed what @ESDadjudicator said - they needed the UCT25 form. My union business agent submitted it this afternoon and the agent put a note on my claim to expedite review once received. They said I should see movement within 3-5 days. Thanks everyone for the help! Will update when it's resolved.
Is it possible you missed answering one of the eligibility questions when filing your weekly claim? I had a similar situation where I was disqualified because I accidentally clicked that I wasn't available for work one week (hit the wrong option). If you're filing online, double-check each answer before submitting. Also, are you on standby status or regular UI? The requirements are different.
I'm on regular UI, not standby. I've been super careful with the weekly questions but maybe I did mess something up. The weird thing is it's happened 3 weeks in a row now, which seems unlikely to be the same mistake repeatedly. I really think there's some underlying issue they haven't communicated to me.
Update us once you get through to an agent. This definitely sounds like there's an adjudication issue or eligibility question that wasn't communicated properly. In the meantime, keep filing your weekly claims correctly, document everything, and maintain your work search activities. When they finally fix whatever the issue is, you should receive all eligible back payments at once.
I'll definitely update once I make progress. I managed to get through to someone using that Claimyr service another person mentioned, and you were right - there was an undisclosed adjudication issue related to my job separation that wasn't showing in my online account. The agent told me they're sending a questionnaire I need to complete, and once that's processed, my weekly claims should be reconsidered. Thanks for all the help everyone!
UPDATE: Had my hearing yesterday! It was actually less scary than I expected. The judge said they'll mail me the decision in 1-2 weeks. I explained about the reduced hours and showed my evidence. The employer didn't even show up! Fingers crossed!
Can I ask a related question? I'm in a similar situation but haven't filed my appeal yet. Does anyone know if the 30-day deadline to appeal is from the date on the determination letter or from when you actually receive it? My determination is dated April 12th but I didn't get it until April 22nd because of mail delays.
I'm curious - did you get any confirmation when you first submitted the waiver back in 2021? I submitted mine a few months ago for a similar situation and never got anything beyond the confirmation page when I uploaded my documents. No email, no letter, nothing in my eServices messages... makes me wonder if they even received it properly.
I had the exact same experience! Just the confirmation page after uploading my docs, and then complete radio silence for almost 2 years. No acknowledgment, no case number, nothing. It's so stressful not knowing if they're even looking at it. Based on what's happened with mine, I'd say they probably have yours, they're just incredibly slow.
has anyone else noticed how they're suddenly processing all these old pandemic things now? my friend just got a random letter about her 2021 pua claim last week. seems like they're clearing out old cases before the end of the year or something?

I just remembered something that might help you - if you're experiencing a financial hardship (like about to miss rent or get utilities shut off), you can request a hardship expedition of your claim! You have to specifically mention the hardship when you finally get someone on the phone. They won't tell you this option exists unless you ask for it.

That's really good to know! I'm definitely facing hardship with rent due next week. I'll specifically ask about hardship expedition if I can get through tomorrow morning. Between trying early calls, Claimyr, and possibly contacting my representative, hopefully something works. Thanks everyone for all the suggestions!
