If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

once you get approved the weekly claims become routine. you'll file every week usually on sunday and get paid tuesday or wednesday. just hang in there!

Looking forward to getting to that routine part. The uncertainty is the hardest part right now.

Just to summarize for you: 1) Keep checking your SAW account for weekly benefit amount to appear 2) Watch your mail for the determination letter 3) Keep filing weekly claims 4) If no update after 3 weeks, consider calling or using a service like Claimyr to get through. You should be fine with a layoff situation.

Perfect summary, thank you! I feel much more confident about what to expect now.

I had a similar situation where I was worried about qualifying after job hopping. Turned out fine - Washington ESD looks at your whole work history during the base period, not just your most recent job. You sound like you'll be fine if you need to file.

Thanks everyone for all the helpful information! I feel much more prepared now if I do end up needing to file for unemployment.

One last thing - if you do file and run into any issues getting through to Washington ESD by phone, that Claimyr service really does work. I was skeptical at first but it saved me so much time and frustration.

I'll definitely keep that in mind. Seems like a lot of people have had good experiences with it.

I was approved in 16 days last month. The key things that seemed to help: made sure all my employer info was accurate, responded to every request immediately, and filed weekly claims consistently. Still felt like forever when you're waiting though!

16 days gives me hope! I've been super careful about accuracy and responding quickly to anything they ask for.

Being accurate and responsive definitely helps avoid delays from back-and-forth requests for corrections.

For anyone still struggling to get through to Washington ESD by phone, Claimyr was a lifesaver for me. Finally got to talk to someone who could actually explain what was happening with my claim instead of just guessing from the vague online status.

I'm seriously considering this at this point. Regular calling just isn't working.

Good to know there are options when the regular phone system fails. Might keep that in mind if I need to escalate.

If you run into any issues with your claim or need to speak with Washington ESD, definitely check out Claimyr. I was skeptical at first but it really does work. They handle the calling and waiting so you don't have to sit on hold for hours.

Is that service free or do they charge for it?

0 coins

There is a fee but honestly it was worth it to avoid the frustration of trying to get through on my own.

Bottom line: file today, file online, keep good records, and start your job search immediately. Don't overthink it.

Perfect summary. I'm going to get started right now. Thanks everyone for all the help!

Good luck with your claim! It's stressful going through this process but most people who were fired for performance reasons do get approved eventually. Just be patient with the adjudication process.

Thank you! All the advice here has been really helpful. I feel much more confident about filing now.

You're welcome! This forum has been a lifesaver for me when dealing with Washington ESD issues. Hope everything works out for you.

One more thing - if you do get approved and start receiving benefits, make sure you keep all your documentation. Sometimes they do audits later and you want to have everything ready if they ask questions.

0 coins

What kind of documentation should I keep?

0 coins

Job search logs, any correspondence with Washington ESD, records of your weekly claims, and anything related to why you were fired. Better to have too much than not enough.
