If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Thanks everyone for all the helpful advice! Going to start my application tonight and hopefully get some financial relief soon. This thread has been incredibly helpful for understanding the partial unemployment process.

Good luck with your claim! Feel free to update us on how it goes.

Hope it works out for you! Partial unemployment benefits really do help bridge the gap when hours get cut.

This whole thread should be pinned - so much useful info about partial unemployment that's hard to find elsewhere!

Agreed! Would have saved me days of confusion if I had found this information earlier.

Don't overthink it too much. Thousands of people work part-time while collecting unemployment in Washington. Just be honest about your earnings and keep looking for full-time work.

You're right, I'm probably overthinking this. Thanks everyone for all the helpful responses!

Good luck with the part-time job! Hope it leads to something full-time soon.

Summary for anyone else reading this: No hour limit in Washington, just earnings limits. Report everything honestly, keep job searching, stay available for full-time work. Pretty straightforward once you understand the actual rules.

Great summary. The key is understanding it's about earnings and availability, not arbitrary hour limits.

And if you need to talk to Washington ESD directly about your specific situation, don't forget about services like Claimyr that can actually get you through to an agent.

Just wanted to add that if you're in a union, your union rep might be able to help you understand the requirements too. Mine was really helpful when I had questions about my eligibility.

Unfortunately neither of my jobs are union positions, but that's good advice for others who might be reading this.

The key thing to remember is that Washington ESD will do all the calculations for you once you apply. You just need to provide accurate information about your work history and wages. Don't stress too much about getting the math perfect beforehand.

This is the best advice in this whole thread. Just be honest and thorough in your application.

Thanks everyone! This has been really helpful. I feel much more confident about understanding the requirements now.

Just remember to keep filing your weekly claims on time regardless of whether it's a new claim or reopened claim. Missing weeks can cause issues with your benefits.

Yes! And make sure to complete your job search activities if required. That's easy to forget when you're dealing with multiple claims.

Update us on how it goes OP! I'm sure other people will end up in similar situations and your experience could help them.

Will do! Thanks everyone for all the advice. Going to call Washington ESD first thing Monday morning.

One last thought - if the overpayment amount is significant, you might want to consult with a benefits attorney. Some will do free consultations and might be able to help negotiate with Washington ESD.

0 coins

I hadn't thought of that option. Thanks for mentioning it!

Before going the attorney route, I'd still try Claimyr first. Much less expensive and you might be able to resolve it directly with Washington ESD.
